Never again

Terrible! We chose this hotel for the good reviews but we were extremely disappointed, the photos of the property must be from many years ago now and 'in much worse condition.
The room was dusty with Spiders and mold. There was also a terrible smell in the room that caused headaches for my wife and me. We made a complaint to the lady who for all Response told me that definitely our house was in worse condition. Our experience was so bad that we decided to leave the hotel without the owner refunding us in any way. We have been traveling consistently for over 20 years and have never found such a situation.

Excellent hotel

Comfortable beds and very typical Spanish breakfast. Very nice lady keeps it and is most helpful and caring. Beautifully placed in the hills over Gijón. The old city of Gijón is full of good restaurants.

An experience trying to find this hotel.

We booked this hotel with hotels.com. They supplied us with the wrong postcode which was very difficult when trying to enter the address in the satnav. After two hours of searching, we ended up having to telephone hotels.com to let them know we could not find the hotel.
They rang the hotel for us and then phoned us back and gave us the correct post code but that didn't work until I realised that the name of the hotel was not the same as stated by hotels.com. Anyway, we eventually found it via google earth.
It wasn't obvious on arrival as to where the entrance was but due to the pouring rain, we headed towards a light and found the reception. There was a lady there but we didn't speak Spanish and she didn't speak English but she was very nice and we managed to make ourselves understood.
We chose this hotel on hotels.com by ticking the filters, dog friendly, parking, and restaurant. The restaurant was not open!
Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. It was very quiet and in the morning, we could see the lovely views. Breakfast was lovely.
