Am going back next month!

We went in September 2020 & instantly fell in love with the place. Mr Wali was super helpful & patient with my numerous queries months before we actually went. Springfield felt like home. Wali was there to greet us & we were given our welcome drink by the river (my most favourite place there). Mr Abdul Khaliq knew all about organic farming & made us an absolutely refreshing cup of the local tea. We loved the size of the rooms, food, the host & staff, the personalized treatment & the ambience inside & out. Wali was going to do renovations & he has, since then, shared the recent pictures of the revamped place. We are going there next month JUST to spend a few days chilling & getting thoroughly spoilt. Things missing when we had gone was a soap dish in the shower area & some plug points near the bed not working.....All that has been resolved & there is newer look to this wonderful jewel!

A pleasant surprise

We reached this place in late afternoon. Its a beautiful grand house converted to a resthouse. The lawns are beautiful going down to the river that runs by it. Very relaxing place with lots of history. I had requested frest fried trout which was excellent.

A must place to stay

Very family type residence. Its like a home. Staff is Very cordial n helpful and full of local area knowledge. They will facilitate and organise your whole tour to gilgit baltistan. The grilled fresh water trout they serve is a must.

Holidays

I was introduced to this place by trusted friend and a holiday transporter for Pakistan. It s as my first trip to Gilgit Baltistan. From the moment I arrived with my Wife, we were taken care of as if I had returned to my house from a trip. Ahmed wali, a gentleman, greeted us and his team guided us to our room. What a room it was. A beautiful view of the garden! Clean himself atmosphere prevailed all over this place. Very cosy. The "nullah" our the gushing water stream flows right next to the garden, within the boundary of this excellent stay.
For evening I suggested a fresh river trout, not from captive pond, marinated in lemon and black pepper before it was grilled served. Haven't had a better and original trout experience.
I can go on n on,about Springfield, but then you have to visit n experience this place n feel the hospitality. Worth every pence.

Best Place to Stay in Gilgit

Visited in August 2022 with my family. Amazing Resort we were 2 adults and 2 kids, we are satisfied with the facility as it is family friendly property with good hygiene, location, safety and wonderful complimentary breakfast.
Owner Mr. Ahmed Wali was very polite and welcoming person.
If anyone visiting Gilgit with family, you can choose this property as main hub without any doubt. Comfort place to stay to enjoy your Gilgit trip.
