Excellent location

Riad in an extraordinary location, a stone's throw from Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The Riad is simple, it does not have a pool, it has a large terrace where they serve breakfast.
The breakfast is good, the only flaw is that you eat in the company of bees, but this is not a problem of the Riad but of all of Marrakech because where there is food and especially where there are sweets, they arrive. The common areas are very clean, the rooms are never cleaned, towels and toilet paper must be requested at the reception as needed, where they provide them promptly. The staff is super kind. In conclusion, we had a good time! Excellent for spending a few nights.

A dream riad

Positive experience for this riad hotel located at the beginning of the medina of Marrakech. Easy to reach, positive note for those who are afraid of getting lost in the labyrinthine medina. A stone's throw from the central square, it offers breakfast on a very pretty terrace. Both sweet and savory breakfast prepared freshly. Exceptional staff, ready to meet your every need. Cleanliness above standards for the city, riad beautiful aesthetically. Thank you very much, if I were to recommend a riad in marrakech, I would recommend yours.

CENTRAL

Small room and not very clean. (There was an empty bottle under the bed)
Bad breakfast.
The owner's attention very good.
Extraordinary location in the heart of the square.

Nice stay!

I stayed in Cecil for a 3 nights and I had very pleasant experiences. The hotel is classified as budget however I haven’t faced any of the issues mentioned in previous reviews. Location is just spot on right in the middle of the main square.
Staff members are lovely, internet works well. Rooms are clean and warm. You can take a nice hot shower there’s no problem with that. If you are visiting Morocco and you are about to travel around a lot then the place is perfect.
If you hope for the pool and spending whole days around it this is not for you!
Some rooms are quite other can be a bit noisy as there’s lots of going on around until around 2am. I would recommend a good earplugs to avoid disappointment . There’s a very nice lady making breakfast which is also included in the morning. Continental style with a nice honey, very fresh bread and pastry, strong coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.

In the beating heart of Marrakech
The property is located 50 meters from the main square of Marrakech, from the roof terrace, where breakfast is served you can see and hear the square.
Extremely favorable location, it is a Riad, with very kind, prepared and helpful staff.
Breakfast, rather international is served on a terrace , jams, baguettes, fresh sweet piece mint tea, orange juice and boiled egg.
The noise of the square to us did not disturb, but accompanied in a full immersion of the place.
The only downside, but not essential, given the reduced price paid for the property, which fully met our expectations is the lack of service for 4 nights of room arrangement.
If you have a spirit of adaptation and are satisfied with an economical but functional and logistically valid solution it represents a valid accommodation.
At the corner of the Alley that leads from the square to the Riad, there is a small shop that sells a large bottle of water for just under 1 euro.
