Excellent stay!!

Excellent stay!!The rooms are comfortable, clean and fully equipped with wonderful views and quietness!!
The hospitality is unique...
The owners are wonderful people who are willing to serve any need.

Great stay at a wonderful price

We had a great stay in the studio. The view of the Bay from the balcony is wonderful and we sat there for breakfast and for drinks in the evening. Also falling asleep to the sound of the waves was perfect. The room is equipped with a toaster a kettle and a microwave & the bed and the pillows were comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well. The price was fantastic! Where else in Europe can you get such a view for such a small price?
there are a few Cafes and restaurants Outside but the noise was never excessive and with the windows shut and the air-conditioning on you could barely hear it. The owners are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Don’t expect luxury but for the price it’s great.

GOOD

Well located apartment. We had a view of the sea and we were at the foot of 2 restaurants. No problem parking in the side streets. All the other restaurants are further along the seafront, so we were quiet and away from the nighttime tourist activity. The accommodation was adequately equipped with air conditioning and shower. Correct insulation in terms of noise. In any case, a good plan well placed for a stay of a few nights in this city.

very bad

There is nothing I would like about this accommodaton. The accommodation was not clean and the room was stinking. The biggest problem was that air conditioning did not work during our entire stay. We asked the property twice to repair it, each time he promised to fix it, but he didn't. In the room was terribly hot and stuffy. After the shower we were sweaty again. One day we did not have hot water. We had to bathe in ice water. There was not enough light in the room, despite the number of lamps there were no light bulbs. We did not enjoy the view from the room at all. The balcony was so dirty it was hard to see anything through the glass. The room was just above the noisy bar, so it was not possible to sleep there, noisy music played all night, the hum of people and the smell of water pipes went into our room. In the first days, the lock on the balcony did not work, anyone in the next room could cross a small barrier on the balcony and come to our room. It was later repaired at our request. From the street you could see into the room, if we wanted privacy, we had to pull thick curtains, so it was not possible to breathe there, as the climate did not work either. During our stay, they did not clean or change our towels at all. They didn't take out the trash, not even the toilet paper that we had to throw in the trash. The drain in shower did not drain, there was mold on the curtain. They also had a problem with electricity, the mobile phone was not charged with several connected appliances. We do not meet with the landlord, all conversations took place through messages via booking. Communication via mobile was a problem because he did not speak English well. The room was not equipped at all as they said, you will not find any barbecue, toaster or private entrance there. I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone. If it was free, we wouldn't go there. For this price you can find better accommodation in Chania.

Value for money

We found the room very clean and the hostess was very helpful and welcoming even on our late check-in! On our arrival the hostess offered us with a traditional homemade raki with bergamot as a welcome drink that we really enjoyed! The view is nice too since we could enjoy the beach and sleep with the sound of the waves in the night. The old harbour, the old town as well as the city centre is very near on foot. There are plenty parking spaces in the area too. Only minus things were the fact that the body towels were really tiny and that the waters in the shower not going down. Very good experience overall and value for money!
