Situated on the elegant Via Nazionale street in Rome, the hotel is at walking distance from sites such as the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. WiFi is free throughout. The Spanish Steps, Campidoglio and other important landmarks are also close by.

Much promised, little kept - Unrealistic self-portrayal
The positives first: The furnishings are new, clean and well-maintained. The rooms are non-smoking, the lighting concept is great, the black-out options are good and the bed is comfortable. The bed linen smells fresh. The TV is a smart TV. There are fly screens in front of the windows. The breakfast lady is friendly and reliable and you get what you ticked on the card the day before (with your own pen, because there are no pens in the hotel). I got one of the few public parking spaces. And I was able to reach someone by phone about my complaint.
The negatives: Whoever put the photos and texts on booking portals, homepages and booking confirmations obviously never thought about the fact that they have to keep their promises. My spacious 25sqm superior double room with kettle, huge bathroom, unique view of the castle or Schlei, tea and coffee bar and pampering products, clothes rack and safe turned out to be a pipe dream. The first room I was assigned (105) was not 25sqm, but about 10sqm. The bed was made for one person and there was only one towel. The bathroom was so tiny that the shower couldn't be opened properly because the sink was in the way and the toilet was jammed right between the wall and the sink. I had to stand outside the bathroom to take a photo of it. The "castle view" looks out onto a busy, large intersection. Safe, kettle, ... not available. The well-stocked coffee/tea bar shown in the advertising photos (screenshot attached) is almost empty; there are two capsules and some sugar in it. No milk, no tea. After reading from my booking confirmation and insisting on getting what I had booked, I was given a code for room 205. It was the promised size, nothing else (no safe or kettle, no tea or milk), the "free toiletries" is a small portion of shower gel, the picturesque, unique view of the Schlei Baltic Sea fjord is a backyard parking lot and the Greek kitchen is in a building in the backyard with noise and smell. The rooms are not "soundproof" either; In any case, the door of 205 protrudes downwards from the handle, allowing light and smell (and noise) in, there is constant banging and slamming of doors, and even the windows, when closed, let in all the noise from the kitchen, the backyard and the fighter planes thundering over the hotel. There is no elevator.
The very euphemistic description and the many falsely promised features lead to unnecessary frustration.
The operator(s) should simply state on their website and in the booking confirmations what is and isn't available, and they should look closely at who has booked which category. Then it would be a fair thing and you could weigh up beforehand whether you want it or not. But when you are in the room and find nothing of what was promised, it is simply not acceptable to tell the guest on the phone that they are welcome to look for another hotel if they don't like it. Parents who rely on the "child-friendly buffet" will be disappointed (due to the lack of a buffet), as will guests who were the ones who booked there because of soundproofing, a safe, a tea bar or a beautiful view. The price is not unrealistic, as maintaining staff and a reception costs other hotels a lot of money - and this is what is saved here.
