The Asbury Hotel is situated in Asbury Park, 300 metres from Asbury Park Boardwalk and the beach. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool open daily throughout the year and a seasonal rooftop bar with views of the sea.

Another great stay!
We stay at The Asbury Hotel every August. We celebrate my wife's birthday and our family gets together for an annual reunion. The staff is very nice and attentive. They will help in any way to make sure your stay is perfect. We love the Asbury Hotel especially because they are dog friendly so we can bring our fur babies with us.
Rooms are very clean. The large pool area has plenty of lounge chairs, or couches to choose from. We rented a cabana on two separate days. (Through Resort Pass) we had a wonderful server named Isabelle who went over and above to cater to us. The cocktails were amazing.
Nicole and James were the bar tenders. Ask for them you won't be disappointed.

No Top Sheet, No Problem: Our Asbury Escape
We spent the night in Asbury Park with some friends over the summer — a quick, fun getaway that turned out to be the perfect mix of beach, food, and good company.
We used a company called Shore to Please to set up all our beach gear, and they were absolutely incredible. I highly recommend them if you want a stress-free beach day. Honestly, I usually avoid the beach because I hate lugging everything and setting it all up — but they completely took that hassle away. They picked the perfect spot, sent us photos ahead of time, and had everything waiting when we arrived. Total game-changer.
We stayed at The Asbury Hotel, which totally matched the vibe of the area — cool, minimalistic, and fun. The rooms are simple but stylish (though I will say: no top sheet — and I’m a top sheet gal!). The air conditioning was a bit noisy overnight, but nothing that ruined the stay. Everything else was great — the rooftop is gorgeous, the lobby bar and coffee shop were perfect hangout spots, and there was evening entertainment in the lobby when we arrived — a live comedian! The whole place has such a fun, creative energy, and every staff member we encountered was smiling and super helpful.
One of my favorite touches? Each room has a record player with a few vinyls to play — and you can even borrow more records from the lobby. Such a unique and nostalgic feature that made the stay feel extra special.
The hotel’s pool area is beautiful and even has a food truck right on-site, which is such a fun and convenient touch if you’re lounging poolside. Unfortunately, due to the weather and our timing, we didn’t get to enjoy it — but it’s high on my list for next time.
The weather was a little overcast from the Canadian wildfires, but thankfully it didn’t rain — and we made the most of it. We strolled the Asbury Park boardwalk, which was lively, clean, and full of good vibes. For dinner, we ate at The Iron Whale — I had the shrimp tacos, and they were delicious. We ended the night relaxing and catching up with friends.
The next morning kicked off our friend’s birthday celebration — we sang happy birthday, enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Toast City Diner (about a 15-minute walk from the hotel), and soaked in every minute of it.
And to our husbands’ dismay, we topped off the trip by walking along the main strip and visiting some of Asbury Park’s cool shops and galleries. There’s a glass-blowing studio, some amazing thrift shops, and tons of local art — such a fun and creative vibe everywhere you go.

Amazing stay
Loved our room- the Park Suite- had extra space with couch retro record player & beautiful vies- definitely worth the upgrade!
Service was great all around from valet to front desk to housekeeping. Grab & go counter perfect for coffee, snack & tasty breakfast the next morning. Lobby is perfect to relax in. We were out for every meal and drinks so we didn't get to try Salvation on the rooftop – next time!

Fine, But Not For Those Who Want A Peaceful Getaway
The hotel, while beautiful and in a perfect location to get to the beach, is not really suitable for those who are looking for a quiet stay. The late-night rooftop DJ is entirely too loud, even after requesting a lower floor. Between those who just like a quite stay and those with younger children, I can't imagine paying the extremely high nightly rates for nights that you can't sleep because of the noise. Besides this major issue, the staff was lovely, the rooms were comfortable (albeit outdated for the price you're paying), and had decent drink options within the hotel.

This place is great so friendly and welcoming. I won’t stay anywhere else in Asbury. Neil is the best.
Clean rooms, plenty of amenities and the friendliest staff out there, they really go out of their way to accommodate you
