Fave place in Winnipeg

We always choose this hotel as it’s our favourite place to stay in Winnipeg. During our most recent visit, Leslie made the experience extra special. She thoughtfully surprised my Aunt with a birthday cake and even sang Happy Birthday to her. Her warmth and friendliness truly stood out. We look forward to staying here again and hope to see Leslie on our next visit!

Old Style Hotel

Old Hotel that time is passing by.
Extra for parking,
Room was comfortable and clean.
Location was not the best as there was nothing really of interest within walking distance, dining options close by were few and far between.
Hotel breakfast was Adequate.

Fort Garry

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, beautiful room, nice facilities (gym, pool, restaurant) I had an amazing experience compared to all the other hotels I've been too. You will pay but well worth it.

Nice place I’d recommend it any day except Saturday!

I was there on a Saturday which prevented a five star review as it was packed with noisy wedding parties, who were noisy in the corridors in the early hours. Lovely building though and an excellent restaurant with good food and drinks

Great property but with Two big Shortcomings

Stayed for the nights of August 2nd and 3rd, 2025
Very impressive lobby and public areas including restaurants. traditional buildings in heart of Downtown. Great service by front and housekeeping staff.
I didn’t give 5 stars due to two reasons
1. Bathroom window open to building next door and from there one of the unit can see inside hotel room bathroom. No privacy screen on bathroom window is really strange.
2. No pool in the hotel. They arranged use of pool with adjacent buildings that too cost extra.
