Superb Family Pension by the sea with views of Tossa Castle
On a trip to Lloret de mar for the second year in a row to rest with my partner, we made a stopover one night in the wonderful village of Tossa de mar about fifteen kilometers from Lloret de Mar.We chose the Victoria Inn for its ideal location with a room overlooking the beach with sea views (castle side). For a double room, we paid 104,50 € (room with sea view on the castle side and breakfast included as we requested). Reservation and payment in advance by internet, reply during the day unlike other establishments in Tossa, it is appreciable.
Hotel Victoria offers small, modern, air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV, a small private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. The functional rooms, clean and neat, with nice bedding. The environment is very quiet because it is closed to vehicular traffic (except to drop off things at the Inn).
It is a family establishment facing the beach and close to the old town of Tossa, close to the most famous monuments of Tossa de Mar:
- walls of the Vila Vella are classified as a national historic and artistic monument (only example of a medieval fortified city that exists today on the coast of Catalonia)
- Municipal museum housed in a restored medieval house above the rocky cove with a collection of regional works of modern art, works by Chagall (museum opened to the public in 1935 as the first museum of modern art in Spain)
- parish church Vincent de Saragossa
- Tossa lighthouse
- Villa des Ametllers
- Moorish Tower or Can Magí Tower
- medieval chapel Mare de Deu dels Socors
Hotel Victoria is a 20-minute drive from Lloret de Mar.
Breakfast included is simple but very hearty, very good and varied. Everything is there with fresh and high quality products. Hotel Victoria’s restaurant is renowned for its Mediterranean cuisine, fresh fish and seafood specialties, and traditional Spanish rice dishes. It is definitely worth a visit: warm welcome, family atmosphere (as for the Pension Reception) nice, fast and good quality service. My partner took a menu for €23.95, which makes the reputation of the restaurant Victoria including a gazpacho, a grilled sea bream and a Catalan cream and me a Victoria rice with calamari and shrimp (for 2)... all the dishes are very tasty, very hearty and the setting is exceptional...
The reception staff speaks a little French or English, is available to guests 24 hours a day. It is adorable and will accompany you at best during your stay. We sympathized with Andres for the restaurant service and Anca one of the hostesses of the welcome, always available, Trip Tip and always very nice...
It is a family Inn with a must-see restaurant in Tossa de mar, if only for its ideal location, by the sea, facing the beach and Tossa Castle.
This Inn is the ideal setting for an idyllic romantic weekend in front of the beach and at the foot of the walls of Tossa Castle, the only example of a medieval fortified city that exists today on the Catalan coast. Not to be missed under any circumstances...

Food with consequences
Good night,
We had lunch in the restaurant on Monday, May 19th, the menu of the day, and I have to say that salmon tartare caused me a stomach infection. That same night I got diarrhoea and vomit, probably the tuna was not very fresh. The truth that left me a bad experience

Fantastic days on the Costa Brava
We stayed in the Loft room - mini suite 50 square meters and a sea-facing terrace of about 20 square meters.
Located right down on the beach. Pleasant service.
Small but very good breakfast. There is no lift to the top. We had a wonderful few days at this hotel in Tossa de Mat.

Great location, good value
Great location, right on the beach. They give you towels that we used for our stay. We had the attic room, lots of space. Two rooms essentially a sliding door that separates the pullout bed and other double bed. The bathroom however is on the double bed side. The access to the terrace is why I booked the room. It has an awning that goes back and forth..greats views. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The only knock is the reception area, it seems no one is there to assist you at times. Just go into the bar area and grab someone and they will help. I would come again. My brother had a double with a terrace, small, but wonderful views of the beach.. he was happy with it. Price was right.

Beautiful location, but the Manager's Attitude...No!
I remember staying in Hotel Victoria, Tossa de Mar, Spain back in April 2014. Beautiful place, lovely, great location and literally across the street from the hotel. I had made all these plans for months. I knew exactly the length of my stay, and I speak Spanish. We came back from a boat excursion to a locked room. No elevator and it was humid (ocean across the street) but i walked all the way down. The man ignored me and when I told him the key mustve been broken, he exclaims YOU DID NOT CHECK OUT ON TIME! Perdoneme?! (spanish began) I dont check out until Sunday! I paid for 4 nights and you will honor those 4 nights, or you will return my prorated money! As a matter of fact, let me gone on to TripAdvisor and complain right now, while I wait! He all of a sudden pretended that he couldnt understand My Spanish bc its not His Spanish, and turned around. B-!! (Spanish and German began) You have my belongings incl the key to my car, my kids are overheated and need to rest and eat and you are preventing that! Check my reservation NOW OR ITS GONNA BE AN INTERNATIONAL PROBLEM!! He sighs but opens the laptop and tried to read to me as if I were slow and couldnt read Spanish. I didnt even look at it, I looked at him as I pulled out the German receipt and read slowly right back where it said Sonntag checkout. Then I flipped it over to show him the Spanish and English versions. Then he read his again, and slowed down at that Domingo part and said, OH! i will unlock you right now! I thought it said today. I said Yeah Id fall for that if it were in English but the days of the weekend do not sound similiar in Spanish, so the only thing you need to say is an apology.....by the way, yes Im still blasting your bad attitude! He wanted to be so polite after that. I wanted no parts of the fakeness!
