'Cotswold Hare'...a little slice of Heaven

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cotswold Hare. Kathleen was so wonderfully hospitable and knowledgable about Cirencester and other places in the Cotswolds. She recommended historical landmarks to visit, top restaurants and some lovely walks to enjoy. The room was a decent size, exquisitely clean and well equipped. The Continental breakfast was tasty and there was more than enough to eat. Parking on the premises was a big plus too. Cotswold Hare is a little slice of Heaven and I highly recommend staying there!

Fabulous Place To Stay

A very warm and friendly host greeted us on arrival . Plenty of info given re restaurants which was very helpful. The room was immaculate modern and comfortable. The Breakfast was a continental style which was very good and suited our needs perfectly .The location was very good with parking on site an added bonus in this town and an easy 5/10 min walk into the centre .
We would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it .

Cotswold comfort and charm

I spent several nights at Cotswold Hare during a tour of gardens in the area. Kathleen is a kind and gracious hostess who runs an absolutely lovely bed and breakfast. The decor was updated and totally charming. My room was exceptionally comfortable with crisp linens and a heavenly duvet. Everything was spotless. I especially appreciated the very large, modern bathroom. Kathleen offers a continental breakfast and I was initially worried that I would miss having a hot breakfast. But her breakfast is quite gourmet and wonderful and very filling... there were pastries, muffins, yummy cereals and granola, really nice yogurt, lots of fresh fruit. Everything was fresh and very high quality. The location is great and easily walkable to the city center. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Cotswold Hare and I would stay there again without hesitation. Thanks Kathleen!

A good place to stay in Cirencester

My wife and I wanted to visit Cirencester for our wedding anniversary and after much research chose the Cotswold Hare. The booking process was simple and the communication excellent with lots of advice about dining out, parking and places to visit. Kathleen was an excellent host, both friendly and informative without being intrusive.
The Cotswold Hare is only 15 minutes from the town centre and the main attractions so we were able to park up and walk everywhere during our three day visit. Having its own car parking spaces is a real bonus as not many establishments are able to offer them!
The whole place is tastefully decorated. Our room was spotlessly clean, well equipped with an excellent shower and bed. My wife is like the princess in the story of "The Princess and the pea" and rarely finds a bed to her liking, but vows that the bed was the most comfortable ever!
The housekeeper also deserves a mention. She is a lovely person to talk to and really takes pride in her work.
The only possible source of disappointment, if you have a good appetite, is the breakfast. The quality, like everything else, is first class but the quantity is not over generous.

Delightful Cirencester

Very comfortable room. Nice quiet street. Delicious light breakfast. 10 minute walk to town centre. Genial hostess.
Walk-in shower which we find essential nowadays. Light and electric razor plug on side of mirror in bathroom.
Small wardrobe with nice wooden coat hangers to hang damp clothes.
