For the authentic Vietnamese countryside experience
I love this charming B&B! Talk about getting a bang for your bucks! This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Nha Trang city. Located just 15 minutes outside the city, it's easily and cheaply reachable by Uber/taxi. The grounds are absolutely charming, with simple bungalows surrounding a big pool and garden on one side of the main ancient house and the kitchen and dining facilities on the other. Food is made from the freshest ingredients of the day. Tho, the general manager of the resort, plans the meals a day ahead, depending on what's best on the market. Don't expect a menu. Come with an open-mind, as though you're visiting a friend's home. The food was always divine during our three day stay. Rooms are basic but very clean. Free wifi is available everywhere. Tho speaks English very well, but not all staff members do. This is the Vietnamese countryside, where English-speaking staff is hard to come by.
I'm shocked at the expectations by some reviewers as though Memento should be providing four/five star service. For the price you pay, you can't get better quality and service than at Memento. The authenticity of experience is unbeatable!

Worth getting off the beaten track for
Memento was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn’t have been happier. It’s a very traditional and local experience. Located amongst rice fields, the resort area is a number of bungalows situated in the grounds of an ancient house. Rooms are basic but comfortable with aircon and fan. Hot water available for showers. Wifi available all over the resort. Good size pool with a kids section. Food at the restaurant is well priced and very good. Staff are super friendly and happy to help with anything. Memento is about 15 mins drive out of Nha Trang and there’s not a lot around but that is part of the attraction for me. Perfect place to get away and unwind.

Nice place in country
Good food, very polite and friendly. there was time to go around and relax. The gardens look nice too. They provide a nice modern bicycle to go around before lunch. I appreciate that our tour took us there for lunch.

Relaxing spot, good food
We stopped at Memento to eat as a group and they had organized us to help prepairing our own food. Great experience to learn how to make spring rolls, beef salad etc. One of our best meals in Nha Trang. The place itself is somewhat aged, simple and countrystylish, and surrounded by beautiful rice fields.
It was heavenly peaceful after busy traffic in downtown Nha Trang.

Not so good...
Stayed in Memento for 2 nights.
We are travelling through Vietnam with our little son of 4y old. We booked this place to be out of the city, we like the country style.
I'm sorry to say that this place was a disappointment for us.
The most things what bothered us is;
- The breakfast, they just put some things on your table (noodles, really bad coffee, fried eggs and some bread) and don't ask if you would like anything else. I think it is because the servers don't speak english.
- The place is old and not good maintained.
The footpaths gets slippery when it becomes wet and gets dangerous with a young child. It was raining during our stay that won't help to find the place lovely.
But I don't think I have let my son into the pool, cause it didn't look so clean.
- The rooms are oké.
But it is a bit muffy. My clothes were moisty after our stay. I had to bring them to the laundry.
- The pictures of the bookingsite are old ones. There is no sauna or spa what they are mentioning.
The place was quite and we understand why.
There is one big plus and that is the owner Tho. She speaks understandable English and did do her best to make us happy.
I'll hope they will refurnish the place in the future, because you can really make something good out of it.
