Things to improve in a beautiful environment
The setting is wonderful, the lake the best.
The food is simple but healthy and well executed.
For two nights I see little pass 1 time only 1 hour.
There is a renovated area of the hotel the part where the reception is and the other disastrous, very ruinous I would say, for what is charged to be in it.
Overall friendly staff except reception, dry and edges with almost everyone.
Plus a long wait for your care.
It doesn't make up the full pension. With breakfast is enough, the village is 10 min walk away and has several cheaper proposals for less than 27 euros per person which is what it costs at the hotel.
On the other hand the coffee shop called El Casino is in urgent need of a deep cleaning, they charge 12 euros for cocktails with Alcohol but if you look at how the windows and tables are by their legs you take away the desire to order anything, as the kitchen will be.... pq if what you see is like this... does not inspire confidence.
I would repeat if it will improve cleaning.
One of the elevators broke down and we had to walk up and down the 4 floors every time we wanted to leave. THERE'S just another elevator and you can't be queuing up and down.

Dismal state of preservation. Deceptive advertising on the web.
The Parque hotel is in very poor condition and outdated. Not all rooms correspond to the pictures, it is almost misleading advertising. The walls dirty and cracked, door surrounds rotten below, ceiling cast with holes, in the shower the water came out cold. And the lake facilities are worse still. For breakfast you have to wait in line, and in the first hour there was nothing left in the middle of the trays. Upon my complaint, the hotel management does not recognize or take care of the situation.

A Spa of maximum 2 stars, not 4
For starters the hotel has more like 2 stars instead of 4. You can see a lot of sloppiness and the facilities are more like an old hospital of some horror movie set in the early 20th century.
I understand that to improve and take care of the facilities you need a lot of investment, money and staff, but there are details that yes, you should take care to hang 4 stars on the door.
1. It took almost 1h to check in. With 5 people ahead and 2 receptionists, the queue was not moving. They spent almost 15 minutes per couple with all the calmness in the world.
2. The only sauna in the spa was not working, it had neither steam nor heat. Perhaps instead of controlling the entrances and exits so much, someone would have to check the premises from time to time? The cleanliness of the last spa room (no access for the girls who controlled entrances and exits) left much to be desired as well.
3. Very poor dinner, more like a school canteen... There was almost nothing to choose from and of the few dishes, some inedible as meat that was very hard. No dessert except a few whole pieces of fruit and natural yogurt. :(
4. In a 4-star hotel bathroom, especially a spa, there is no champagne, hair conditioner and a simple body milk? We're supposed to be there to take care of ourselves and there's not even the basics...
I give one star for the location, the truth is that the thermal lake is a great experience, and another star for the small details like free parking and robes and flip-flops to go to the lake.

Unpresentable
We were forced to cancel the trip and stay in this hotel by the Dana (October 2024) as there were recommendations not to travel and move essentials, and seeing what had happened in Valencia we decided not to take the car for a trip that was not essential, also with anticipation of heavy rains, storms and wind gusts. We tried to contact the hotel staff by phone several days (they never picked it up and it was many calls and different days) and by mail (I keep waiting for the answer) until the same day we were supposed to be at the hotel, at night, I was told a chat saying that the wagons were open and the hotel working. That was it. They charged me for the hotel night and it has been impossible for me to claim the money or contact them again, if only to express my total dissatisfaction with the treatment and collection. A hotel embarrassment that of course in my life I will visit. And the hotel may be great but such unrepresentable people don't deserve it. And I never leave reviews, but this has seemed like a tease.

The setting is beautiful and the buffet free without any glue
Nice spa, especially Lake Thermal. It is another of that chain that is buying Spas in Spain. It's the third one I've met and I see the same problem in everyone. Lack of staff for maintenance and hospitality, although there are very effective and attentive
