I’ll Be Back
Breakfast was good with a hot and cold selection. Not a massive choice but it was enough. Best of all the glasses for juice and water were of a decent size so I didn’t need to go back repeatedly for refills like in most hotels. The dining and bar area are bright and stylish. All the staff I encountered were friendly and efficient.
Room service was unavailable while I was there which wasn’t a problem as there are tons of places to eat locally. Location wise it’s great, plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and transport links with bus stops and the Angel tube station within a 5 minute walk. Islington is a bright and vibrant neighbourhood with good transport links. Loved my stay and I’d definitely stay here again.

Really nice hotel
Breakfast was really nice, a huge shout out to the chef, (sorry didn't get your name) for the fresh omelette cooked to order. Lots of fresh fruit , pastries and cooked options
Extra thanks to Manuel for the super service in the lounge,
Wouldn't hesitate to come back to this hotel, a real credit to the Hilton Group

Someone opened my door at 2am with keycard
I luckily had the top latch on but the door opened around 2am, I heard a group of voices outside speaking another language. I quickly ran from my bed and slammed the door shut as it was opened on the latch and shouted at them to go.
Needless to say I did not sleep the rest of the night. In the early hours of the morning I went down to reception and explained what happened. They said that they had been there all night and didn’t hear anything and no one came down etc. they said the only person with a keycard access would be STAFF.
I requested they check the CCTV then and that they would let me know that same morning after they’ve spoken to their manager.
That didn’t happen, I left and then 5 days later I received an email reply to say they had given my keycard access to another visitor by error. I advised that the staff on reception said no one had been in that night so I can’t understand how someone checked in to my room at 2am and they didn’t know about it - as they would’ve gone straight down to reception to get a new key themselves.
The staff on reception said that they thought it was staff. I too believe think that’s the case. I emailed back and weeks have gone by and still no reply.
No communication follow up, it ruined my stay as I didn’t sleep after, I was staying alone and felt very vulnerable someone actually opened my door, yes the latch was on but the door still opens, and to hear a group of voices on the other side, honestly a worst nightmare.
Horrendous experience and poor follow up, I still don’t really know what happened. The staff on reception hadn’t given a new keycard out in the middle of the night to other guests. They thought it was staff but why would staff come into my room at 2am?
