Getting to the property was tedious. The check-in easy.
The room was large and spacious. I had a king with a hot tub room. However the carpet was bulking in areas, and there were patches that causes frequent tripping. I slice kn the carpet caused myself to actual fall down. I did have my family express concern about a repeated fall. Im handicapped myself. They offered to accommodate me with another room much smaller by accessible. I declined because I didn't want my grands to be crammed up.. However, I'm told hotel.com has to issue the refund.

The pool is the reason we made reservations for our stay. Very upset that was not online that pool was out of order. Ruined our stay. I had a 5 yr old very upset when we went to the hotel for his birthday so he could swim.

While location may be essential, the quality and condition of the place is paramount. Unfortunately this hotel fell very short. The wallpaper was peeling from the walls and there was a constant smell of gas. The walkways were dark and the overall feel was exceptionally dated. We were informed upon arrival the pool was down which was disappointing. We will not stay here again.

Its an older Hotel so i dont expect much. I was only thete for the day. Water was hot, bed was comfortable so i had no complaints. The price was affordable.

Staff were very professional, pleasant, and helpful. Staff really stood out with their exceptional service (1 per shift). Had cute fireplace (wish they were on) in lounging area, library, and other common room. Breakfast was simple but good. Bed comfortable. Daughter loved whirlpool. Staff recommended Sloan Streak House, which we really enjoyed.
Pool not available - heard it has been that way for a long time. Ice dispenser room dirty on 2nd floor. Old rotten banana peel on the floor and turning into a liquid.
Overall good experience.
Would recommend better cleaning in all areas and using your enticing resources, such as the fireplaces, which make the atmosphere more warming and inviting.
Would definitely stay again.
