The location of Hotel Palacio couldn't be better. It is in the heritage district and easily accessible to food, transportation, and attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, especially Rochelle. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to be helpful. Rochelle truly knows hospitality (!!), but the entire staff was amazing. This is definitely THE place to stay in downtown Paramaribo.

Location is absolutely perfect, you’ll be in the most beautiful part of the town within a short walking distance to all key attractions and restaurants / bars. Rooms are very clean & staff are friendly. Highly recommending!

Hotel is in very close in centrum, the staff is very friendly and is helpful. Room and bathroom is big, all rooms have aircondition.

Historic neighborhood gem

If you love staying in the historic parts of a city then this is the place for you. Our triple bedded room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. Big television and excellent working air conditioner. The only negatives were no safe in room, expensive breakfast, expensive coffee too.

Comfortable Stay

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The bed was nice and cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the bathroom had both hot and cold water with no issues. Wi-Fi was stable throughout my stay, which was a big plus. Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the reception, and there are nearby supermarkets for any other essentials. While there's no microwave in the room, the staff is happy to heat up food for you. I also appreciated the coffee maker and fridge in the room.
The hotel could benefit from a bit of an update, particularly with the lighting, as the current setup could use more modern, white lighting. Breakfast is the only meal served on-site, but the staff, including Rochelle, Arielle, Shananka, and Shermeley, were all incredibly kind and helpful, assisting with everything from ordering dinner to arranging a registered taxi and guiding you when needed. Great team. Their excellent service truly made the stay memorable. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience!
