Great staff, Clean Hotel

we stayed at the Hilton garden inn on our trip to see AC/DC. The location was excellent for walking back and forth. The staff was super! The room was nice, you can tell hotel is dated. I thought parking fee $55 was a lot considering we were staying at hotel.

Summer Vacation 2025

This hotel was undergoing renovations, but that did not affect our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the room was nice. The towel peg by the shower was not attached properly, but they fixed it as soon as I reported it. Jerie at the front desk was so kind and helpful; she obviously enjoys her job and working with people. It is very close to the baseball stadium, which was why we chose this hotel. I do think parking is a bit high because it isn’t covered or protected at all, but the valet people were incredibly kind and helpful. I absolutely recommend staying here.

The hotel was great however hotels.com did not mention that parking is extremely high. Not cool hotels.com not cool! If you're staying a week you are going to be out of major $$.$$ because you pay for parking by the day.

Staff was pretty unwelcoming. From the valet telling us, ppl that don’t pay the $55 a night parking usually don’t like to pay it because they likely don’t have it. To the
eye-rolling front desk representative that showed how bothered he was when we asked a question or the a server in their dining facility telling us we had to pay for the uncooked pancakes that I said we weren’t going to eat. When I asked to see the manager his reply was, “there is no manager”, I repeated his answer back to him in question form he then left to the kitchen came back and said “ok you don’t have to pay the pancakes but you have to pay the $8 for the coffee you drank”. This place’s customer services needs some period of instruction on how to engage with their patrons. Their lack of customer service definitely made an impact on our stay. The only positive thing we experienced was, the maintenance staff they were incredibly professional and friendly and helpful.

Great experience over the weekend. Our room was very clean and comfortable. All of the staff was friendly and inviting. The location of this hotel was fantastic! We would definitely stay here again.
