Great hotel in the heart of Schagen
Nice, spacious hotel; centrally located on the market square with a nice view of both the large church and Schagen Castle.
Very friendly staff at reception and service breakfast/dinner.
Had at hotel arrangement a 3 course surprise menu : was fine! ( no a la carte dinner , only surprise menu) . Breakfast is good.
Parking close to hotel.
Rooms tastefully decorated.
Hotel modern and clean. Also very reasonable gym.

After fleeing the carnival here confrontation with Carnival Option!
A very trendy hotel with friendly service, good rooms with all comforts. A lovely bed, good bathroom a cozy lobby. Too bad you log in through a login kiosk (too early!) and have to pay a surcharge for it. So we just log in to the receptionist, all those surcharges do not apply there!?

Wat betreft de toeslag bij de incheckzuil: deze verschijnt inderdaad wanneer er gebruik wordt gemaakt van de zelfincheck vóór onze reguliere check-in tijd van 15.00 uur. Uiteraard kunt u er altijd voor kiezen om bij de receptie in te checken; daar kijken we graag samen naar de mogelijkheden zonder extra kosten.
We hopen u in de toekomst opnieuw te mogen verwelkomen – hopelijk buiten het carnavalsseizoen om!

Scary employee very woman unfriendly!!!
BEWARE! This hotel has staff who enter your room when you are naked inside and name it and say not to enter. The chores man Arie then looks at ease. Even though I mentioned several times that he had to leave, he did not leave and brought up a balcony that our room does not even have. I shouted for him to leave because I'm standing here naked! My husband got out of the shower and sent him out of the room and pushed the door shut. Then we were scolded in front of the secretary of the hotel manager. Sir had initially done it out of automatic and did not know why he brought up a balcony. Coincidentally, this is the only room without a camera in the hallway! Then get out of the debt if you indicate that you are very upset about this, because Arie is always a lovely man he probably did not do on purpose. When I asked him what he was supposed to do in the room she didn't know this either because he had nothing to do there and was probably mistaken. To reach our room you walk past all the rooms with a balcony and another corner and then down a stretch of corridor to get to the gelgelgelen room. And for a guy who's been working here 5/6, I'm assuming he knows his way around. Don't expect service here because it doesn't exist and you're the problem

We are refugees from Ukraine. My underage son and I paid for two nights' accommodation, as we were kicked out of our apartment we asked for help for refugees, without remorse rained on the street , we went tearfully to look for a hotel, on the way we were helped by your Dutchman showed us, brought us to a hotel we paid 228 €, but by the evening we decided that it was better for us to go to another country the next morning, and approached the reception asking that we be given the money, as it was better for us to leave, my son and I were politely refused.
