Monica from hospitality was the real gem of this hotel.
From the first night Monica took care of us and our guests.
Until the last day Monica was impeccabile, attentive and going above and behind our needs.
Overall the hotel was ok but Monica made the difference with her attention to details.

Weeks stay at NH Hotel Taormina.
The staff were amazing rooms well cleaned and well looked after by Alberto with much information given. The swimming pool did not have the water spouts working and just about to go for a dip I noticed the floor of the pool was a little dirty in places and around the sides were the overflow is was green in places and looked as though it needed a good clean. The breakfast was ok but I was always asking for coffee and bacon / eggs which was always running out, which on some days took over 20 minutes to replace. The balcony’s were very small and for a five star hotel this all should be in order without me asking.

NH Taormina - Ask for Angelo M!
The hotel itself I would give a 3 out of 5 star. The gentlemen who checked us ( we can’t remember his name) in was very kind and helpful and made dinner reservations up in the roof lounge for us that night. The location was convenient to Corso Umberto. The room and our views of Taormina from the room were decent. The room itself was average (and as an Amex Platinum member celebrating a big birthday, we were not given a room upgrade which was opposite of the hotel we just left in Switzerland where we were given a spectacular upgrade ). The room was a bit noisy some mornings from the room above us and the rooftop restaurant could be improved - it’s a lovely space but was empty the 2 nights we went there.
However, if we could give 10 stars to one employee for providing perhaps the best service we’ve ever received in any hotel we’ve stayed in it would go to Angelo M, the doorman. During the week we were stayed we tried to find the concierge who seemed to be available only one day while we were there. We were looking for a winery to visit last minute when Angelo offered to help . He arranged everything from the car service to the vineyard tour and lunch which were all spectacular. But it was the attention to detail and willingness to help us find a good option that really made an impression on all of us. As well as going over and above is job duties. We thanked him upon our return and when we checked out this morning, Angelo had handwritten notes for our group and a farewell box of chocolates for all 3 couples. We’ve never had a doorman, let alone concierge or general manager offer such a lovely and warm send-off. Angelo hoped we’d return soon - I would hope Angelo could be the concierge or even manager given the service he provided . Angelo is the kind of employee every hotel should be lucky enough to have as part of their staff. Thank you Angelo M!

Unforgettable
Unforgettable holiday, both for the location, since the 'Hotel is located in a strategic sector of the town, clean rooms, both for the 'welcome with friendly and prepared staff; I got to relate with Mr. Alberto, wonderful person and ready for any information. I had dinner on the terrace, an experience that I recommend for the delicacies that the chef offers and for the breathtaking view. The Director, friendly person, what about... I'll definitely be back.

A Special Dining Experience in Taormina
The main restaurant within the beautiful NH Collection hotel was excellent and memorable. Not only was the food prepared by Riccardo perfectly presented but the service provided by Angelo and Stefano made the evening special. First class experience within a beautiful city.
