I can't recommend this hostel enough

I can't recommend this hostel enough. I only stayed there one night and wished I could stay longer.
Just a few reasons why I love it so much:
- the building is gorgeous, it is excellent value for money, the digital key works perfectly, the bathrooms/showers are modern and lovely, the staff are kind and helpful, the luggage storage lockers work well, the hot drinks are very cheap and nice, the views are excellent, the in-room lockers work well, there are vending machines for small things/snacks you might need.. There are free walking tours starting outside...
I wouldn't say the beds are amazingly comfortable but as comfortable as you can expect in an ordinary hostel. I could write more but I think I gave an impression of why this place is ideal for a short stay in Ghent. I just need an excuse to go back now :)

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in.
Not only is it in a central location with easy access to the University and other points of interest, they have some nice facilities.
Obviously the building itself is part of the equation. Mad sleeping somewhere older than my country.
A thanks to Brian and his afternoon shift colleague. You were amazing hosts.

Amazing View from the rooms!

Only a 1 night stay but was very pleasant. The dorm rooms had an amazing view of Ghent. The way the key card operates with your mobile phone was interesting and definitely a good use of technology. Check in staff were very nice. During summer could do with some air con as there were only fans to cool the room.

Good experience

I stayed just 1 night, but was expecting worse. I'm not a huge fan of hostels, but this one was pretty good. It was clean, I got a free upgrade. The only negative thing was it was too hot in the room. Other than that, nice staff, nice bed, amazing location etc.
