Come for the towel art, stay for the free choccies

Look, it's not going to win any awards for ambience but what it lacks in style it makes up for with the hospitality.
The towel art animals were hilarious and I adored them. Complimentary chocolates and water was another nice touch.
The rooms are basic but clean. The shower is nice and hot and the bed is soft and cosy.
We also stayed at the Ocean Centre Hotel in Geraldton and to be totally honest, this place was as good and better value for money. Would not hesitate to come back.

Overcharged for substandard accommodation. We have recently spent 2 nights at your ‘motel’. It is undoubtedly the worst

We have recently spent 2 nights at your ‘motel’. It is undoubtedly the worst accommodation which we have paid for in over 30 years! The booking was made over 8 months ago and we were consigned a small room in which an adult could not stand up on one side of the bed - appalling! The charge of $170 a night was extortion. I was sorry that you were not present in the morning so that I could convey my
displeasure in person!
Do not stay at this substandard motel! It is a sub standard facility and should be closed!

Dangerous and dirty

The area is unsafe, my wallet was stolen from my room while asleep. The rooms are so stuffy that you need to sleep with windows open. I had closed the gauze door on what was supposed to be a secure courtyard. Clearly not secure. Cockroaches are regular visitors and a dangerous portable oven stove on top of the fridge, that you have to lift down to use - very filthy carpet, reception very cold. The rooms are tired and worn out. The noise transfer between rooms doesn’t allow for sound sleeping including hearing voices through walls, the hum of fridges and air con units. I was there for 5 days and didn’t get any servicing of the room. I highly recommend staying elsewhere

Old rooms, nice art.

Towel origami is an art form and close to the heart of town.
Beds and furniture are perfectly fine. Has an attached pool area.
Blinds are in disrepair.
No visible or enforced noise curfews (seems no one on staff after 5pm) so sleep was minimal with the doof doof and loud people.

Top Motel

We stayed here on 2 separate occasions on our way to Kalbarri.
On our first stay we were upgraded to an apartment as we had requested a downstairs room and there were none available. The room was excellent and we had plenty of room, a lovely soft bed and great shower. The owner that checked us in was extremely helpful and very friendly.
On our second return trip we were given a very small room downstairs and had to use the restaurants kitchen if we wanted to make a meal.
There was no room for our suitcases and the bathroom was extremely small, however the room was neat and clean. Good location close to town.
