Good location to explore

Picked this hotel as it was located near the old city it (and a private car park no fee) and was a short walk across the bridge. Reception was friendly and readily gave advice on the old city and the Hotel amenities. Be aware that there is no facilities in the room for tea or coffee and the machine in the foyer is for a charge. Something we were not used to. Room was spacious and had what you needed. Great for an overnight or extended stay.

We love to go there again!

This is a very well maintained modern hotel in an excellent location overlooking the harbour basin of the old town of Stade.
Rooms and apartments are stylishly furnished. Coffee/espresso makers are also available.
The extensive breakfast buffet is amazing.
The staff is very! friendly, attentive and accommodating.
Two restaurants are very cleverly connected and together with cinema and other leisure facilities already very amazing.
We like to go there again.

Practical, central, friendly

Centrally located (about 10 minutes walk to downtown), friendly.
Been here before. Rooms with harbour views are worth it!
What we appreciate:
Parking free of charge, elevator access, beds can be pushed apart a bit, heating instead of air conditioning, good mattresses (topper available on request, but only for both beds), breakfast sufficient, cinema etc. next door.
Good to know:
No minibar (= no fridge), snacks/drinks are available at the 24h reception, coffee/tea station for a fee, economical (environmentally friendly, waste-free) equipment (no extras such as body lotion, cotton pads, sewing kit, terry cloth slippers), breakfast is (matching the price) not luxurious = no egg dishes on order, no freshly squeezed juice, little fruit/vegetables = but there are good basics!

Stade and this hotel are worth a visit.

Very nice location, mega. Look at the sailboats, let your soul bumble. Rooms are large and clean. All good for 85.00 euros a night. The reception was very friendly and devoted. The beds were good. In the bathroom, the glass pane for the glasses by the sink hangs a bit on your face when you brush your teeth. In fact, there are still cups made of glass here and not as paper cups. Soap in the dispenser and not as small portions. Clean. Stade and this hotel are worth a visit.

Good for seminars

I visited the hotel on business as a seminar hotel for one night. The staff was very good and the equipment of the seminar rooms as well.
The room facilities and design are okay but clearly old and stale. Nevertheless, it was clean and everything necessary was available. For one night it was acceptable.
Breakfast was fine, although the rolls were quite dry. Otherwise, the selection was okay.
From about 4 am it became too loud and no longer bearable due to the traffic and the seagulls with the window open. Also, the room heated up a lot overnight, which is counterproductive if you can't open the windows because of the volume.
In addition, I had to turn off the ventilation in the bathroom by pulling out the card, as the switch on the wall did not work. The ventilation continued even though the lights were already off, and it was still active after half an hour. I don't know if she would have gone out on her own.
The location of the hotel is good, with many activities in the area. Canoe rental nearby is particularly recommended.
Overall, the stay was fine, but there is certainly room for improvement.
