Pleasant adult only place in Playa Blanca.
Stayed for 10 nights recently. This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed it on the whole. The apartments/villas are small and compact and are well thought out and equipped. We asked for an even numbered one in phase 2 as we knew they get more morning sun on the terrace and were lucky to get number 14. The pool, hot tub and gardens are kept beautifully clean by the maintenance guys as do housekeeping keep the insides. The welcome pack is extensive and useful. The toiletries and loo roll are not automatically replaced - they are considered part of the welcome pack. This is fine if you're staying for a few nights, but does mean you need to buy for longer stays. (I believe housekeeping may have given us more if we'd asked.) Tania on reception is a great addition to the team, very helpful and great knowledge of the island. A pleasant adult only place in PB - quiet, other than the obvious road noise and handy for shops, restaurants etc.

Did not live up to the star rating
Overall disappointing. The accommodation was basic with poor quality furnishings. The bathroom needs upgrading: mirror worn, shower leaks on to the floor and the hairdrier did not work. To be fair that was replaced quickly with a brand new one with the old one having to be completely removed from the tiles. The workman was helpful.
On arrival (Sunday) the kettle did not work and was replaced the day after. This toaster only worked on maximum, burning the toast. That was replaced later in the day but didn't work at all the following day leading to a 3rd one that did work.
The towels were fine and changed midweek as was the bed. The curtains in the bedroom were very difficult to move along the rail and would not close properly. It was a nice gesture to have some basic foodstuffs left, especially water and milk. The villa was cleaned daily and staff very friendly. The gardens were also nicely maintained and we were not troubled with noise from the road. The patio furniture was adequate.
I must mention that Tania on reception was extremely helpful and friendly and was very efficient in resolving our problems.

Highly recommended
Ideally situated for the beach, restaurants and shops. Easy walks along the coastal path. Supermarkets 2 or 3 mins walk. Accommodation very good with massive very comfortable king/super king bed. Very well equipped and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful and Tania the receptionist went above and beyond.

Ok
Agree with others, underwhelming villas, need updating, close to the noisy road , not worth the price. Also bitten by some kind of bugs & got bad service.
They are kept clean every day & have the facilities that you need. Gardens are kept nice.

A Friendly Oasis
Had a great week here, lovely staff especially Tania who was just lovely and so helpful. Accommodation had everything and more for a comfortable stay. The pool and grounds are a little oasis to come back to especially if its windy as they are well sheltered from the wind. First time to the Canaries and we loved it. Literally 5 mins walk from Flamingo Beach which is a lovely bay but the sea very cold in February but still managed to swim in it. Had lots of sunshine in our week but there is a cool wind but still need suncream as I burnt one day without it. Evenings are chilly in February you definitely need trousers and a jacket and I even wore boots as well. The promenade is great for walking and cycling, one way to the lighthouse which is about 2 and a half miles away. The only facility for food/drinks though is one cafe which doesn't have public toilets and is expensive for drinks, a large beer was 5.25 Euros where the rest of Playa Blanca beers start at 2 euros up to 3.5 euros. We found meals were more expensive than Greece but the drinks were less, gin and tonic very good value as they pour about 4 or 5 measures in for about 7 euros. On Wednesdays and Saturdays the Marina Rubican has a market on which gets very busy so you can choose either to do this or not. It takes between 30 and 40 mins to walk there depending on your speed. Overall we would return to this accommodation as its well located for everything and everyone was so friendly. Also thank you for my birthday treat much appreciated.
