The 3-star Hotel Maksymilian is housed in a 19th-century building situated only a 10-minute walk from the Kraków’s Main Market Square. It features rooms with free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and an LCD TV with satellite channels.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Maksymilian, we got there late, check in was easy and straight forward. We were allocated a twin room instead of a double as our holiday company had messed up the booking, the lady at reception rectified the matter and gave us another room, this room was lovely. The room had a fridge, TV, air conditioning, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, water, fridge, seating and a lovely bed. The room was clean with a separate sitting area.
Although the building is old it has been modernised with excellent showers and double-glazing windows. There is also a lift.
Reception staff were friendly, spoke perfect English and helpful on giving advice on local landmarks, the centre of the old town is about five-minute walk. Location wise it is ideal with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The tram stop is also nearby.
Breakfast was in the basement, there was plenty of choice of cold and hot food, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, cakes and bread. On the walls you will notice pictures of the renovation work done on the hotel.
We did not use the Pizza Restaurant within the confines of the hotel as we wanted to try Polish cuisine.
The hotel was lovely, it should be rated higher and thank you for a great time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfect location
We’ve just returned from our trip to Krakow and this hotel was so lovely! It’s in the perfect location with only a 5 minute walk into Krakow Old Town and also has easy transport links just outside the hotel including the trams. Our room was basic but exactly what we needed for our stay, always kept really clean! The hotel as a whole was really clean too, not a spec of dust anywhere. Breakfast was included in our stay which was lovely, really nice to have the polish cuisine for breakfast but they also provided toast & cereals etc too. All the staff that we met were so welcoming and friendly, they especially appreciated us learning a little polish to say thank you & good morning! Even though there are trams right outside the hotel, we did not hear a thing during the night and was lovely and quiet! Beds super comfy too. Overall, a really lovely stay!

Great find
Great location, great staff, great value.
Everything about the hotel was excellent. Clean, quiet, good breakfast, friendly staff.
Didn't use the restaurant or bar as we were out all day but it all looked good.
Very knowledgeable on attractions and tourist advice.

Very well placed and clean.
We took two single beds because my daughter was with me.

Maxysmillan Hotel in Krakow
Very clean hotel, with really friendly staff. Lot of variety for breakfast,including cereal, yoghurt, pastries, continental breakfast. Rooms have tea and coffee facilities, a safe, and fridge with small freezer. There are lifts for anyone that struggles with stairs. We will definitely stay there again.
