Very comfortable mattress, thoroughly cleaned and in a perfect location to access anything you need .

Excellent communication about how to check in after the reception closed and what to expect. Very comfortable mattresses. The facility was thoroughly cleaned. Located right next to the bus station with access to anything you need. The other guests were all very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here when in Queenstown.

Lovely facilities and social

Hostel is clean and there’s a privacy curtain on each bunk. There are activities planned most nights and the TV room has Netflix and Disney Plus. The hostel has good security - just bring your own padlock for the lockers.
Only gripe - the staff are generally unfriendly. Just expect British service

easy and convenient

Adventure Q2 Hostel, Very helpful staff, central location - close to local restaurants and pubs, easy to get public transportation to airport - basically just a 2 min walk is the bus stop, regular busses go to Queenstown airport. amenities are kept clean.

Sadly one member of staff let the side down.

Very central, quiet and comfortable. All but one member of staff were above and beyond helpful. One day he spent his whole shift in reception with his back to guests and the other staff who were extremely busy while he was on the computer. He should have worked from home if his report was that long and important!!

Excellent Queenstown Hostel

Adventure Q2 hostel is an excellent Queenstown Hostel. The staff were efficient and helpful. We stayed in the Double Room with ensuite (Lucy's Room) and it was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a good view.
The location of the hostel was a huge bonus - being close to town and the bus stop (you can easily catch a bus here from the airport). The supermarket is on the same street and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area.

Please inform Adventure Q2 Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Groups of more than 6 people will be refused/declined. Adventure Q2 is a small property and large groups have a negative effect on the hostel's atmosphere. Any booking that is suspected to be for 7 or more persons will be refused check-in. Covid Policy Positive Tests As per New Zealand Government stipulations, in the event of a guest testing positive to Covid-19, you will need to self-isolate for 7 days at your own expense. You will be required to proactively find other suitable accommodation and be financially prepared to cover this cost. Our hostel is not equipped to offer self-isolation due to the shared living nature of hostel life. As per our refund policy, there are no refunds for Covid-19 reasons (with the exception of the government closing the border, which is unlikely). We urge all guests to ensure they have suitable travel insurance. Masks & Face coverings Face coverings indoors are not mandatory for accommodation providers. Due to the communal and social nature of hostels, wearing a mask indoors may be impractical. Therefore wearing a mask is to be a personal choice for each guest including staff who are, simultaneously, also live-in guests of the hostel.
