I highly recommend

A superb hotel near Villandry Castle.
A warm welcome, comfortable rooms and very well equipped.
Very clean: rooms, common areas.
Excellent breakfast very complete.
Brasserie in the afternoon with a meal at 16 € (starter-dish-dessert) appreciated; the cheapest in the village.
Restaurant in a superb room; hearty, original and very fine dishes. Homemade pastries are a delight.
An efficient staff, at the top!

Cute hotel

Very cute French hotel, nice furniture in rooms, small but cosy. Staff was friendly,
food was good and very close to the beautiful castle and gardens

Not great brewery

We asked for brasserie menus at 16.50 euros (on the internet, it says starters to choose, dish of resistance to choice). As for the main course, impossible to have anything else to replace the pork cheek, the starter; very warm gizzard salad... we asked to replace the coffee mousse with another dessert of their choice, impossible. To believe that it is not the priority to pamper passing guests, they prefer those who are at the Pension in full board...Where is the love of their craft as a restaurateur??? We're not going back.

Stay with family

I stayed with my family with a 4 month old baby. Great facility, clean and with great service. We had a very spacious quadruple room with two double beds and two bathrooms. Access to the room was by stairs.
The hotel also has a restaurant where you eat well.
Located in a small but very nice residential center, free parking and close to the castle.
It was a great experience.

Perfect to visit the Castle of Villandry

We based in this hotel our visit to the Castle of Villandry (very nice both, the garden and the building), being at less than 500 m of distance and being in the right position to split the trip returning from Mont St. Michel ot our town in north of Italy.
It is also close to Tours.
The hotel is special, being in a small old building; our room was under roof with a special shape of the bathroom (making a little bit complex the use of the shower ...).
Room and bathroom perfectly serviced (e.g. with hair dryer) and enough spacious.
We didn't use the braekfast.
Free parking immediately in front of the hotel.
