Hotel in the way...

We're late for Pto. Iguazu and we stopped one night at this hotel. The hotel is regular, do not expect great things or luxury, you can see that it lacks maintenance, etc. For a night this ok, has breakfast (coffee, toast, jam and butter, some fruit), does not have a carport (the car is left out)
At night, it has food service, which we found comfortable as we arrived very tired, although it is basic, it was ok (pizzas, milanesas, etc)

Horrible hotel!!!

Location a walking distance from city centre, near to the road to Brasil. Hotel has 2 floors. Receptionist didn't speak english, but it is normal in South America. Doesn't matter. We had 5 beds room. Floor was dirty, furniture was old and damaged, bathroom was disgusting. The room had air condition. It worked. This hotel has got also pool. The water is dirty and if you see the jacuzzi you think it is a joke. Nobody cleans the pool, floor around the pool, jacuzzi. We had also breakfast. We came to the breakfast room, all tables were dirty with used dishes, nobody cleaned it. So I had to clean one table by myself to sit there with my family. No juice was there, no coffee, only brea and jam, no butter, everything was empty. Except of it, there were no clean plates, cups...
I was waiting...After 5 minutes lady brought 2 small pieces of butter, one juice..next 3 minutes...2 clean cups...one clean plate...next ť minutes...coffee...terrible!!!
Never go to this hotel, choose something another.
Yes, I forgot. They have wifi
They dont care of nothing

Worst

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We had 7 in our family party with 3 rooms. We asked for a discount on one room as it was absolutely horrible. There were cockroaches in the bathroom along with the smell... the shower was not clean, the wood rotten around the sink and an amazing sound when ever the tap was turned on. The sheets were too small for the bed. The bed was so old that there was a hole where you had to lay.

Reminds me of the Bates Motel

The property is rundown overall. The room we stayed in was spacious, but the furniture looked very old and tattered. The bathroom appeared to have been built many decades ago and has not been renovated since.
Breakfast is extremely basic and they often ran out of plates and bowls which was irritating.
The pool is dirty and the wifi only worked close to the reception area, it was non-existent in the room.
Overall I would recommend staying here if you are an actor researching a role as someone down and out or alternatively, a novelist writing a murder mystery that occurs in a shabby motel and needs to surround themselves with context.

Basic in every way

The hotel is very basic. We stayed here for 4 nights.
Negative:
-It is cheap and you definitely get cheap. The room we stayed in was really cute, but nothing fancy (it seemed to be one of the bigger and better rooms).
-The staff seemed to be annoyed with us as we kept asking for basic things that are normally provided in a hotel rated 3 stars (like towels and toilet paper and tape to keep the cockroaches out. ;)
-We had the chance (because our bathroom ceiling was leaking) to look into another room and it was quite small and a bit depressing, so we opted to mop up our floor with towels and stay in our original room that felt brighter.
-We weren't told that we needed to leave our key at the front desk in the morning in order to have our room cleaned. We just kept asking for clean towels and toilet paper every so often. After two days and two cockroaches later we decided to ask why nobody was cleaning the room.
-We needed some laundry washed after 4 days at the falls, and one bag of clothes was 200 pesos, when they originally said it would only be 100. Both prices are too expensive. It took a full day and a half to get all of our clothes back. (we originally asked if there was a laundromat in town, but they said they would wash it.)
-None of the Gym equipment works
-The pool is dirty and the hottub isn't a hottub, it is just dirty and cold. Needless to say, we didn't swim.
-Breakfast was cheap and very basic (coffee, tea, toast, dulce de leche, butter, some cookies)
-Noisy surroundings (bring ear plugs)
-Pillow had other peoples hair stuck in the cover (at least it was clean)
-Public bathroom was stinky and gross, no paper towels or soap.
Positive:
-We had an asado next to the pool, the parilla was good (you have to buy charcoal and everything else you would normally need to cook.)
-The room had good air conditioning and the TV worked.
-Location is close to town (we walked everywhere)
-Good choice for if you are just sleeping and getting out early every day.
-Coffee was great in the morning
-Weather was perfect in November
