Top Location

The hotel is located directly on the harbor, and the city center is also nearby. One look out the window and you're immediately in the holiday mood. The rooms and service are of a high standard. The breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious.

Nice stay

A new, clean and modern hotel in a great location. We got a room equipped for disabeled quests, even though we didn’t need one, but maybe all the rooms are equipped that way.
The breakfast was really good.

Excellent location giving staff hubris.

Me and my boyfriend chose to go to Scandic Karlskrona on our first vacation together when they promised on their website newly renovated rooms, nice rooftop bar and pool. By pure chance it came to my attention that the rooftop bar was not fully renovated, the pool not open and the terrace closed during our stay June 6th-8th. On the website it says that all will open until the summer of 2025, last time I checked June is considered a summer month. I contacted the hotel to express my disappointment at this with the hope of compensation but unfortunately received a very copious response from the front desk that "as I'm sure understand, renovation can take time" and "that it is my own responsibility to check this information and choose the hotel accordingly". Very sad.
On our arrival in Karlskrona on June 6th in the morning by a disinterested receptionist who did not have the ability to greet us. I just had time to say I was aware we were early before she interrupted me and said "the luggage room is over there."
Regarding the hotel's renovation, it is painted and new furniture, but the floor in our room was shaky and so was the bathtub and shower handle.
The location of the hotel is absolutely unremarkable, fantastic views that we paid extra for and well placed in relation to both boat trips and the city center. Unfortunately, the experience of the hotel is reduced due to the staff's treatment.
In addition to this, the staff has a poor grasp of unauthorized young people who sat and hung out in the lobby and disturbed us guests.
Next time I will stay at another hotel when I visit this amazing city!

This hotel has a good location with nice views from the room. At the moment it is undergoing renovation so very messy in the public area and stairwells.
Breakfast was not the best but OK.
Maybe it will be better when the renovations are finished

One night in Karlskrona

Generally good, but rebuilding in progress. The menu in the restaurant was very limited, which meant that you had to go out for dinner.
