Beautiful Budapest

Great base for exploring Budapest. Reception area of the hotel is lovely as were the staff.
Dean’s home is very clean and tidy. The hotel is shared with students who we found were very polite and helpful.
The rooms have everything you need for your stay.
The hotel is slightly out of the way but in a good area with some great bars & restaurants nearby, about £8 in a Uber to the centre but there is a great metro / tram route close to the hotel. There is also a Spar (shop) next to the hotel if you need anything. We enjoyed our stay and absolutely love Budapest.

Great stay

Had a great few nights staying here , helpful and friendly. Next to metro to get around the city quickly , great breakfast. Recommend here for a stay in Budapest

Great experience

The hotel is great and stuff is very friendly. There is a grocery shop nearby and it's close to city centre. I would definitely stay here once again.

Friendly and welcoming, even at midnight!

Our flight was delayed, which meant we didn't arrive at Dean's Home until just after midnight. The welcome at the desk was so lovely, which was just what we needed after a very long day of travelling. We saw the same person upon checking out as well, and he happily took our case to store for the day for us so that we could continue to explore Budapest until out evening flight home that day. Really excellent customer service. Everything explained etc.
The staff around the hotel were friendly and kind too. We felt very welcome. There's a games area in the lobby of the hotel where you can play Connect 4, pool and table football.
The area felt very safe.
The room is excellent with a good fridge and a microwave/mini kitchen. The air con was very much appreciated in the 35c heat.
Breakfast was basic, but it did the job. Scrambled egg, sausages, salad, cereals and various breads/croissants jams and doughnuts. Tea, coffee and various juices too. You just help yourself and then you clear your own table at the end to a little serving hatch.
There is a Spa supermarket right outside the door to the hotel, plus a little Tesco just across the road and an Aldi just 5 mins walk away so it's very easy to get drinks/supplies for your trip.
Download the Budapest Go app to your phone and there is a Metro just a couple minutes walk from the hotel. It's only 500HUF (around £1) per journey. It's spotlessly clean and very easy to use. Just watch a YouTube video before you go on how to scan in at each journey. We would recommend this!

We had a nice stay in the hotel

Very nice hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, good location close to metro station. Ideal for 2 people for shorter or longer stays.
