Best Faroe Islands stay

We travelled from
Australia so it was a long journey. The hotel was walking distance from the ferry. They upgraded us to an amazing cabin with an authentic turf roof and self contained kitchen. Just loved it. Felt like we had our own home but either way all the convenience of the hotel right at hand. The staff could not be more helpful and the bar and food excellent. It was right in the centre of Torshavn. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cosy comfort in the heart of Torshavn!

I first used this hotel a few years ago when it was in the process of being refurbished. Well, what a difference! Although my room was bijou, it was stylish and very comfortable. There was a lot of 'retro' decorations which made it interesting. The bed was extremely comfortable and the food (breakfasts, cafe and restaurant) was top notch! The staff were friendly and very helpful (particularly the staff on the desk). One excellent feature was an really effective set of blackout curtains which helped my sleep. I would unreservedly recommend this hotel as a great base when exploring the area.

The cottage is modern, beautiful and clean. The living room is spacious and well equipped with kitchen facilities. The attic with beds has a very low ceiling and so one needs to be careful with not getting bumped on the head. The stairs to the attic is very narrow. We requested for sleep arrangements but was not entertained and would have appreciated an explanation. Overall, it is a nice stay!

Perfect Hotel Hafnia in Faroe Islands.

Great hotel; excellent location for walkers, immaculate hotel with very nice buffet breakfast. I booked a suite on one of the top floors; it was lovely and had a wonderful view. All members of the reception staff were truly exceptional....warm, friendly, patient and willing to gather all sorts of informative details to make my stay for a week so memorable.
