Best of Everything
Obviously, the bird watching on the lake and surrounding bushlands was fantastic, but equally so the resort itself!
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect; the stand alone cabins (which were thoughtfully furnished and immaculately clean), the tasty home cooking which happily catered to our vegan diet, the stunning gardens and incorporated pool and probably most of all the total peace and quiet with nights free of noise and light pollution.
The owners, Vassana and Ian were most welcoming and the family and staff cheerful and accomodating.
As a small family run affair, we enjoyed the fact that our (very reasonable) tariff went directly to the business and employees (which in turn supports the local village).
We also enjoyed the resort bicycles and the extremely quiet, well made local roads.
All in all, a superb stay

Magical even better than paradise without doubt

A Northern Thailand must stay
The bungalow exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail makes your stay the most memorable and comfortable, from the beautiful furnishings to the thoughtful mosquito nets.
If you are thinking of visiting Chiang Rai these bungalows are the perfect location away from the hustle bustle of city life, hire transport and easily see all the incredible sights that Northern Thailand has to offer, most of them within an hours drive. The tranquil view over the lake with its fairytale sunsets will leave you speechless. The antics of the cats and the Peacocks will make you smile.
Thank you so much for helping us make some wonderful memories.
We will return, but for more than 2 nights.
