Excelente relación calidad precio
Habitación limpia con los servicios habituales (wifi, tv plana, nevera, caja fuerte y aire acondicionado. Personal muy amable y con una atención exquisita. Y, para mí lo más importante, absoluta tranquilidad, sin ruidos de vehículos ni personas en la calle. Por ese precio no se puede pedir más.

Simple hotel at a good price, with buts.....
The positive: Comfortable bed. Room and bathroom, correct. Adequate price
The negative: Bad location. It is on the outskirts of everything. If you don't have a rental car, you can't move. The reception system does not exist. Everything is done through a call center. The electronic door opening system does not work. After giving me a code to enter, I had to call 3 times for them to open the street door and as many others to get into the room.

Never again
Let me just sort out the good points first, because there weren’t many of them. The private parking is under the hotel and very secure. The hotel has a lift, the rooms are air-conditioned and contain (or at least our room contained) a desk, a fridge, a safe, wi-fi, flat-screen TV, a big double bed and an en suite bathroom. It’s a fairly new building, everywhere was very clean and the female receptionist was very helpful.
The bad points will take rather longer to cover. First, this isn’t actually a hotel as most people understand the word. I checked three different dictionaries and they all stated something along the lines of ‘an establishment that provides beds, food and other services to travellers’ which is also my understanding. On Borox is simply a large building full of bedrooms. There is no café, no restaurant and no coffee shop. There isn’t even a hot drink dispenser, nor machines for supplying packaged snacks, nor even a bottle of water in the room. Nor is there a kettle and sachets of coffee or tea. If you want a drink in this place, your only option is to stick your mouth under a tap and turn it on. And this is despite pictures on the website showing trays with coffee, orange juice and croissants. That’s just one of the deliberate and misleading aspects of this alleged ‘hotel’.
We took this up with the receptionist. She was apologetic but couldn’t help. She didn’t even have a bottle of water she could sell us. Fortunately, we had bottles of water with us, but that really isn’t the point. She offered us a map showing a café where we could get a cup of coffee. It was only about a seven-minute drive, she said. We didn’t take her up on her offer, but the next morning we did drive to the location she suggested and it took us more like a quarter of an hour. She also said that there was a much closer café to the building, only about a three-minute walk. But it was, of course, closed because we were there on a Saturday evening and the café was only open when the other buildings on the industrial estate – and yes, that isn’t a misprint – were open and working.
Believe it or not, On Borox is located on an industrial estate. When the satnav told me to turn into that particular road, my wife berated me – and the satnav – stating that both it and I were obviously completely stupid and utterly wrong because we were driving into a deserted industrial estate and the hotel had to be somewhere else. Well, the satnav was completely correct: On Borox is on an industrial estate, but nowhere in the hotel information is this stated, another piece of deliberately misleading information, or rather lack of it. The address gives no clue, and all the pictures of the building, while not PhotoShopped, have been carefully taken to exclude all the surrounding structures. The impression given by the images is that the hotel is somewhere in the countryside, perhaps isolated but within east reach of the fast roads into Madrid. I took some honest photographs, showing what it is really like.
This may have been misleading by omission, but it is certainly misleading.
That wasn’t the end of the misinformation. The hotel claims to be in Borox, which is a blatant lie. The village of Borox is 10 kilometres distant, approached along a narrow and twisting country road, and it takes about fifteen minutes to drive there.
The room wasn’t what we had expected either. We’d booked a superior double which comes with a balcony or terrace, according to the website. Our room had neither. Again, we talked to the receptionist, who told us that despite the details available on Booking.com – which are obviously supplied by the hotel – not all superior rooms have balconies or terraces, and as the hotel was full our choice was basically take the room or go away and find another place to stay. Despite being consistently polite and helpful, there was nothing she could actually do. It was then after seven, dark and raining, so we reluctantly took the room.
The view from the window of our ‘superior’ room was of the rocky hillside that had been hacked about to build the place. While the hotel was fairly quiet, apart from the fire alarm being triggered when some selfish Spanish idiot decided he couldn’t last another second without a cigarette at one in the morning, the noise from the bathroom was alarming. Obviously no sound insulation had been fitted between the floors because every time one of the people in the room above us used the loo or the sink or the shower, the sound was so audible in our room that the first time it happened we went to our own bathroom to see if there somebody was actually in there. It really was that loud and intrusive.
We have travelled around the world, several times, and we’ve used bathrooms on every continent of this planet, but our bathroom at On Borox scored a first: the two shower controls – just the two – were so completely non-intuitive, and of course lacking any instructions, that we had to call the night manager to get him to come up and show us how to get the water to flow.
As you can appreciate from the foregoing, to say we were unimpressed with On Borox barely scratches the surface, and it was very obvious to the receptionist that we weren’t happy, and she did something about it.
She actually called Booking on our behalf and in a matter of minutes we were able to talk to a very pleasant lady in Florida named Marlena. There was nothing she could do directly – the hotel was full so we couldn’t be moved to another room – but she did arrange to give us a credit because of the problems we’d experienced.
The fundamental problem about On Borox is that the information isn’t honest. The owners should actually state where the hotel is and exactly what facilities – or lack of them – it has, and remove some of the misleading photographs. And, here’s a thought, why don’t they at the very least provide coffee and/or snacks or something for guests? It’s not a cheap hotel for the area, and at the moment it offers nothing at all apart from beds, and a hotel should be so much more than that.

Disaster! Bachelorette party
We were a group of 12 people celebrating the bride to be but the service and the room provided by this hotel was just terrible. They gave us a room with a bad smell and a broken shower. When I requested another room, their answer was that the hotel was full. They didn't apologize or try to find a solution. Just disappointed

El hotel està bien, pero está muy mal comunicado. Si tenéis pensado tener que coger taxi o uber u otro vehículo que no sea vuestro no recomiendo venir ha este hotel. Además, no hay cafetería ni ningún tipo de máquina expendedora.
