A lovely hotel, super food, stunning views, friendly and welcoming staff.

What a lovely hotel! The views are outstanding, the rooms clean and fresh and the staff very friendly.
We had dinner on the first night and it was superb; a set menu which included croquettas, fideuá and other local favourites.
A really lovely hotel just far enough away from the bustle of town (but a 3 min walk in!) set between 2 beaches. Glorious!

Amazing hotel, stunning location, the food in the restaurant was very good. Close to shops and right on the beach, supermarket close by, everything’s in walking distance. No beach towels but lots of shops selling them, the beach is stunning one either side and accessible via steps, my room had a sea view I recommend booking this… it was an outstanding view

Elegant hotel at an exceptionally beautiful location

Beautiful and unique location right by the sea and marvellous views from the seaside balcony. The whole hotel was very elegant and the restaurant looked really nice although we didn’t eat there. The room was nice and the bathroom was really big. The towels were exceptionally good (large and fluffy). There were no parking spaces left in front of the hotel but there is a secure parking area less than a hundred meters away where you get a code from the hotel reception, and the place is video monitored.
The room was a bit small and it was difficult to use the fridge because it was in a small space under a table. The fridge was also extremely small.
The hotel accepts pets which is nice, but their pet regulations are extremely strict. One has to sign a 1,5-page-long paper full of rules (e.g. dogs are not allowed on the bed).
We stayed at the old part (not renovated) part of the hotel.

A little disappointed

This is the third time we have come to this hotel , and even though the room was old last time, now they put us in the basement, where I think families with children end up people were constantly passing by the window. It smells like a terrible sewer from the bathroom and the hallway. Shower without door , just to flood the bathroom a bit. Bathroom radiator all rusty (normal , since the shower water goes everywhere) but it is not a good advertisement. It saves the kindness of the staff, the wonderful breakfast buffet and the sea view. It was our favorite hotel as we also stayed on our honeymoon in 2017 and then also in 2019, but unfortunately I don't think we will be back. Platja d’aro has become a neglected and exaggeratedly expensive city given the low season in March anyway.
