One of the Best Serviced Apartments We’ve Stayed At
This was easily the best serviced apartment we’ve stayed at recently. All the facilities were brand new, and the cleanliness—especially in the kitchen and bathroom—surpassed even some 4-star hotels. Everything we needed was provided, and the interior design was excellent. The bed was also very comfortable. Great location, great price, great amenities.
Here are a few potential downsides that might matter to some guests:
•The internet was very slow. The Wi-Fi signal on the second floor was the strongest, so we used that, but it was barely sufficient for even checking emails. It felt as if the connection was intentionally throttled. If you need stable internet for work, tethering through your phone might actually be faster.
•No elevator. Our unit was located on the second floor, and we had to carry about 30kg of luggage up the stairs ourselves. Even a small, old-fashioned lift would have been a huge help.
•Noise from upstairs. Although the apartment was newly renovated, the flooring is still the original wooden structure, so noise from the upper floor can be heard. We were tired enough to sleep through it with earplugs, but sensitive guests should take this into account. Booking the top-floor unit might solve this issue, though that means climbing even more stairs.
•Early check-in confusion. We had requested an early check-in, but it wasn’t communicated properly. As a result, we had to drop off our luggage at the YOUROPO office, which is about a 6–7 minute walk from the apartment. I wonder if we could’ve left our luggage directly at the property if the message had gone through properly—perhaps someone from the team could clarify?
Despite these minor issues, I would still give this property a full 5 stars. If we visit Porto again, YOUROPO will be at the top of our list.

The apartment was lovely. Location is very good. 8 mins to the city centre where the shops are. Check in process was very good and everything is via through WhatsApp.

Amazing apartment located near the centre of Balhao. The staff had excellent service and recommendations! We walked everywhere here and easy access to metro if you need to go farther. Would stay here again!

Nice apartment near the center
Before we left for Porto we had contact with the rental organization via whatsapp. Via whatsapp you will receive a code with which you can enter the building, the key is in a locker.
The apartment (number six on the third floor, without elevator) is fine: two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a small kitchen / living room. The air conditioning is already on and it is wonderfully cool. There is even a roof terrace and a small balcony.
In case of questions, the rental organization responds quickly via whatsapp.

Nothing fancy, fairly sizeable rooms for an affordable price.
Would recommend if you stay here as a tourist that you walk in to town and taxi back as it’s essentially one long uphill walk for about 20 minutes on the way back.
