Very nice
We stayed two nights. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise! Although it is old and is being renovated slowly, I emphasize in the first place the cleanliness of the rooms and other areas of the hotel. The absolutely clean rooms feature a simple but pleasant decor with the typical Alentejo beds in hand-painted wood and decorated with florins. Good air conditioning. The bathroom needs to be remodeled because it was antiquated, but it was very clean and with everything working. Our room had direct access to the large terrace where is the pool. In summer will be a good plus value. Breakfast is very good and has everything! All staff were very friendly and attentive. Well located very close to the city centre.

Very nice stay
The location is very nice, the staff is friendly, the rooms spacious and clean. We had a balcony.
It would have been nice if there had been two chairs on the balcony and a possibility to make coffee and tea in the room.
The decor is dated, but if the staff is friendly, everything is clean and the location is fine, then a dated decor need not be a problem.

Family dinner at the hotel restaurant
Very good gastronomic experience! A family and welcoming atmosphere, keeping the charm typical and characteristic of a hotel from the 1970s. Great for family dinners.

There was no bar. There was no restaurant. Open for breakfast only. Pool closed. Wifi in hallway only. Poor signal. No toast/toaster broken I was told. Things that were to be hot for breakfast were cold/lukewarm. Rubber scrambled eggs, slimey mushrooms. Bed very comfortable and nice towels. Sound proofing poor. Could hear someone using the toilet before flushing. Some staff observing breakfast but uncommunicative. Bathroom light took 30 seconds to light up. Up grading required.
