Hospitality matters
1. Location, cleanliness, breakfast, price are certainly advantages of this hostel.
2. Hospitality is not.
I don't know why everyone says that the staff is polite and go extra miles. Unfortunately it didn't happen to me. Well...it is a hostel, but hostels are different.
A. Front desk lady.
Once we arrived on time and we were by the main entrance, we called Front Desk. The lady picked up. We clearly said three times in Polish that we were already by the main door. Still the lady was saying to us that "No, you have to pass the restaurant and make left. The first door to the left. Do you understand me?". We said three times in Polish that we have done it, but still were standing by the door waiting on that someone is gonna open it. Yes, I was understanding everything and thanks God got my Masters degree in Polish language. So only at 3-d attempt we heard a beeping sound and finally we managed to come in the building.
B. Housekeeping / F-B.
I woke up in the morning. There are no glasses in room or bathroom. I always take multivitamins right after waking up. In order to get a glass I went to get one where the breakfast is served. While I was putting a pill of vitamins into the glass, I put my shaver aside the sink. Right after it a weird lady came into the breakfast area. Saying neither "Good morning", "I am sorry, Sir" nor "May I tell you something". The lady right away very roughly in a strict loud voice said:" It is a breakfast area, so no shavers here!". I wanted to explain that I would not shave. Instead the lady's voice started to be even louder and her arms started to wave in the air even more. It was hard to tell something cause the lady confirmed that she was a manager ( not sure about that fact) and was interrupting me a few times.
Bottom line is the following. Yes it is just a hostel. But after 13 years in hospitality business ( inc 4 years Holiday Inn and 2 years Novotel) I can tell that hospitality matters and how the staff talks to guests. Cleanliness, price, location are left behind if employees forget that they serve guests and are not able to be polite.

Affordable, Clean, Centrally Located
Spent 2 nights in a Twin room (with shared bathroom). Overall, Sleep Inn is a good, budget-friendly option when visiting Poznan.
The manager is incredibly sweet and helpful of what to see in the area. Bathrooms are clean, there’s a small kitchen for light cooking or water refills.
I also never had to wait for the shared bathroom which was nice.
A few things to note:
The WiFi does work but isn’t as fast as I thought it would be.
The hostel like rooms face a busy street and is over a restaurant so rooms can smell of that food and it’s very loud. Being near old town, loud is to be expected but loud until like 4-5am.
No air con in the rooms or fans so it can be stuffy too, especially with window closed to try and minimize the noise.
I wish the bathrooms and rooms were more consistent in amenities. For example, some rooms have mirrors, others don’t. Some bathrooms have hairdryers or hand soap, others don’t.
Despite this, I would stay again and I would recommend staying there.
It definitely has some drawbacks (as I noted) but for the cost and amount of time I was there, I can look beyond it.

Cozy place to stay
The hostel is located in the centre next to the main attractions and highly rated restaurants.
Friendly and helpful personal.
Big choice of food selection for breakfast; all types of coffee are included. Free Wi-Fi.

Great value for money
Me and my partner stayed here for two nights and had a really good experience! The staff was friendly and the check-in went by very fast and easy. We had the deluxe twin room which was very nice and spacious. The bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfy. My only complain would have to be the fact that the walls are quite thin and while we were asleep, a tour group was leaving and we could hear someone banging on every door around us and them talking but other than that situation we did not have any issues. For the price we payed I personally believe it was a great deal and I would definitely come back there in the future.
