Nah. A big miss for Novotel
Our room was tiny for 3 of us. The only space there would have been was taken up by the double sofa bed which was now made into a bed. The round table which must sit in front of the sofa was jammed in the corner as nowhere else to put it. They could have taken it away to store it while the room was made up with 2 double beds.
When we checked in they stated that they would only clean the room if asked to do so but normally every 3 days!!!
My 11 year old stated the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. There is no air conditioning. The room was stifling. The window was broken and when you opened it, it hung on one of the 4 hinges.
There were only 2 sets of towels and one bath robe for 3 of us.
We are Accor members and should have been offered a free drink, this didn’t happen.
We were on the first floor and had a view of a flat roof and the pool which had a cover on it. The whole area looked dirty and covered in leaves and just very unkempt and uncared for.
After our second night out of three we asked if the housekeeping could make up our room….. her reply was…… I’ll ask!?!?
When we returned they had made the beds, emptied the one bin and replaced the two bath towels and two hand towels with three bath towels. No cleaning had been done. There were still crumbs on the floor and the sink had toothpaste on it.
Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

The furnishing of the room was also old (not to be confused with vintage).
I am not sure what Novotel is up to but this hotel was definitely not at par with other Novotels I have stayed in the past in different cities. Hope the management takes note. I am most likely not going to book anther stay with Novotel

We were not told at check in that the don’t clean the room every day we have to request it at reception- so our bins were not cleaned, beds not changed nor towels.
The bedside light was broken.
The extractor fan did not work properly in the bathroom. When we mentioned it they were not bothered.
Service at the bar was slow - even though we were the only ones there.
Beds were not comfortable and I kept sliding off the edge.
