The check-in process is fast and efficient, but the staff attitude needs to improve. He is more senior than other staff but he has a poor attitude. He never smiles and gets angry when another customer asks more questions. I am not sure I recall his name correctly, Haniz.
The room is clean and has basic toiletries. Just the air-conditioning needs to be served as I can switch on during the night, and the technician needs to clean the filter before it can be switched on.
They have shuttle service from the hotel to cable car and premium outlet.

A Magical Anniversary at Resorts World Awana
We celebrated our anniversary at Resorts World Awana in September 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. The warm hospitality, a complimentary room upgrade, and stunning 28th-floor views made our stay truly special. Surrounded by misty mountains and lush greenery, it felt like a serene escape from the city's hustle.
The resort beautifully blends luxury with nature, offering pristine gardens, fresh mountain air, and a tranquil ambience. The golf course, even for non-golfers, is a visual delight, adding to the resort’s charm.
Dining was exceptional, with a delicious breakfast buffet and an inviting restaurant. However, the only drawback was the limited vegetarian options—they should add more variety to the buffet and restaurant menu.
Its prime location, just 5 minutes from the Premium Outlets with a free shuttle, made shopping convenient. The staff's attentiveness enhanced our experience, making us feel valued and cared for. Whether for a special occasion or a peaceful retreat, Resorts World Awana is a perfect choice.
For those visiting Malaysia, I highly recommend spending 2-3 days in Genting Highlands, enjoying its cool weather, breathtaking views, theme parks, casinos, and shopping outlets. We can’t wait to return!

A landslide has occurred at the Hole 11 area at Resorts World Awana Golf Course. The Golf Course is under renovation until further notice. However, 9-hole games are still available. Wawasan 2020 Grand Ballroom is temporarily closed for upgrading works until further notice. However other hotel facilities are still operating as usual. Effective March 1, 2022, a Sustainability Fee of RM3 per room or day will be imposed in accordance with the Hotel (Pahang) Regulation 2021. This charge will be collected upon check-in.
