Careful if it rains

We arrived here on April 24, 2025 with a plan to stay 2 nights. We didn't reserve a camper spot ahead of time, but they had availability. We were directed to a particular section of the camp grounds (C or D) to park for the night. The spots were all aligned side by side with metal poles as spot markers. It was a tight fit, so my husband thought he would pull through the spot so we didn't have to back in. Well, there had been a huge rain storm the night before and the spots were muddy. We had no idea how bad it was until we got stuck and could not pull forward or back out. My husband contacted the check in staff, who called in Marco and his colleague to pull us out. They brought in gravel to cover the muddy spots, then hooked up our camper to a back hoe and pulled us out of the mud. It was an inconvenience, but at the end of the day, it worked out.
This location is walking distance to Pisa, which is why we selected to stay here. It's about a 20 min walk, through a long, traffic tunnel. About 1/2 way to Pisa is a grocery store (Pam), so it's nice if you want to pick up some groceries.
It is also walking distance to the Pisa S. Rossore train station, which was great.
There is a store on-site, which we visited for some snacks. The wash closet (toilet) was clean.

Good

The staff was very kind. Well maintained campsite, very close to the city centre. Minimarket very useful because open late, but expensive. The houses, with everything you need, are very close together: privacy only with the curtains all closed. Too bad for the bathroom without bidet and very small sink with partially blocked drain. A little musty smell in the closets.

The property is located outside the city with nearest bus stop being 10 minutes walk away. We stayed in a premium triple room.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice functional kitchen.
The property has nice open space with play area for kids.

Really lovely campsite

We came here in July in our motorhome for a few days as our daughter and granddaughter flew out to meet up with us as we were touring around Itlay and it was 5 minutes from airport. We were very pleasantly surprised, what a lovely site. The facilities were excellent, toilets and showers were very cleaned and cleaned regularly they also had a machine machine .The pool was lovely with a cafe for drinks etc,they had a small shop selling basics, we went to Lydl which is 5 minutes away,we would recommend this site for both motorhomes and also their rental bungalows did I mention its a 10 minute walk into Pisa
