Holiday week
Good points,
Rooms were good size and clean
Rooftop bar was nice and relaxing
Staff very attentive great food nice location
Some bad points
Cleaning staff loud in morning 7am
Hottubs were dirty and in need of a good service
Overall not a bad place to stay

Great location
Located on the outskirts of Kos town, easily walkable to town centre in 20mins with tavernas en route.
All the staff were wonderful and helpful.
If you have a sea view then beware you also front a busy road where lorries come rumbling past early in the morning, take ear plugs.
Towels changed every day, however they did have a strange smell and for larger people the bath towels are a little small.
1st thing in the morning there was a bad smell from the shower.
Overall we would stay again with a pool view to eliminate traffic noise.

Which accommodation option should I choose?
We returned from Kos Divine yesterday after a lovely relaxed and easygoing holiday. Kos Divine is only a small hotel about 25 minutes pleasant walk from the castle and Kos Town.It is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are a good size but there is not a lot of clothes space —2 of us managed.Breakfast is in a dining room which holds 50 people — the food is normal fare. We booked half board but were a bit surprised when no reviews mentioned the food at dinner? The a la carte half board meal is served in the restaurant which is attached to the hotel but also serves people passing by. Those from outside or who have chosen the bed and breakfast option have a menu showing prices whereas half board residents have a similar menu without prices. The food was lovely and Greek mainly! The salads and fruit salad are delicious and enormous! There is not a comfortable lounge area to sit so most guests ate their meal and went out. I would suggest booking bed-and breakfast rather than half board and you can choose to eat in one of the many other restaurants or even in the hotel . Prices are reasonable. One night we were going on an evening tour and asked to change dinner for lunch but this was refused.Booking bed and breakfast and then eating the number of courses you choose is also cheaper.
Entertainment is low priority as very few people are there at night. Tuesday was a singing music duo and they were enjoyable and Wednesday was karaoke.The downside of this is that you watch from your dinner table chairs. It must be soul destroying to work so hard for such a small audience. The roof terrace was suggested to us — only at night when it is free— but during our stay it was dark cold and deserted.
So no real complaints . A quiet relaxed hotel which most people used prior to moving to livelier venues in the town.

Modern, Friendly hotel near to Kos town.
We chose the Kos Divine due to its proximity to the town centre and reasonable cost for October, albeit at a time that the resort was winding down for the end of the holiday season.
The hotel was modern and very clean with good facilities. We had booked a sea view suite, which had a double balcony overlooking the sea and Turkey beyond. There was no exposure to the sun at all - a pool view room would have a better chance of getting the sun at certain times of the day, but those might be noisier, especially at busier times. The room was very spacious, with a separate lounge area, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean and modern. Storage space was a bit limited, especially for sufficient drawers.
All the staff were very friendly and cheerful, which is always a good sign of a well run hotel. Big shout out to Costa, the bar manager and all his staff. He really made us feel genuinely welcome and always developed a great rapport with all the guests, many of whom had stayed at the hotel before.
The breakfast choice was excellent in quality and variety and could not be faulted. We didn't have any meals in the evening but food at lunch was very good indeed, and at a reasonable price. The pool area was busy and sometimes difficult to get a lounger at times, even in the quieter part of the season.
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at the Kos Divine and would stay again if we visit Kos again.

We had a great time. Lovely staff, great buffet breakfast. Shop nextdoor. Walking distance to marina, historical sites and loads of bars/restaurants within easy reach. Huge spacious room on 2 floors with 2 separate terraces & huge comfortable bed! Great air conditioning & big fridge. Great stay, would return.
