All right for one night

After visiting coast, the Courtyard Ventura Simi Valley was a good stopover! In the immediate vicinity is a Panda Express, which I highly recommend. Otherwise, the hotel was OK! Unfortunately there was no breakfast!

early check in fee

terrible customer service! we’ve been to many marriott’s around the world and have never paid an early check in fee of $30! even with lifetime status they wouldn’t waive it.
looked online to see if this was a new policy and it’s not a brand standard so it’s just this specific location. (manager)

The bar is hardly that don't order a drink the bar tender is a glorified cashier. The Starbucks is not in fact a Starbucks but they bought Starbucks brand coffee to sell you. The drinks are 20 dollars for 1. 8 oz glass. But we had fun the pool is heated and private

Very nice hotel in Simi

We were in town for a bridal shower and found this Courtyard to be very nice. All the amenities were up to Marriott standards and the location was convenient to where we were visiting. Free parking and restaurants and shops nearby make this hotel an easy choice when staying in Simi Valley.

My check in was slow and ultimately felt like I was pushed into a particular ground floor handicap room because others were still dirty at 5;00pm. I had the impression that this had something to do with my type of reservation when I heard the two clerks discussing "type of room". My feelings were compounded by the parking lot appearing almost empty. I wasn't real happy with the room after I got there.
