Amazing Staff and Property

Visiting a place you've never been is always a challenge for everyone travelling. But this time is an exception.
I was on my way on an early road trip to Blue Paseo Grande in Concepcion Grande, Naga City for a short stay. Thinking that instead of putting the whole challenge of finding the place in me, I decided to call the mobile number listed on the booking confirmation. I came to talk to an individual who seems so accommodating and even offered an extra mile of service of fetching me if I am already in the area of Naga City. I told the person that I am still on my way to the place and would like to get some hints to easily find the place. The person gave me a clear directions to follow which I was able to do so.
Upon arrival at Blue Paseo Grande, I was greeted and swiftly escorted to the room as reserved.
The place is located away from the city that makes it ideal place to rest. Environment is good, people are courteous and most of all everyone seems to be very respectful.
I ordered food for breakfast and lunch and gave instructions to what time it should be brought up to my room and some requests very important to me when eating. Guess what, the food arrived exactly to the time I wanted it to be and WOW all requests were delivered with some thoughts of if we wanted something not included in the menu, they can prepare it for us.
For some reason, I wanted to change room. So I called the reception if I can be accommodated for the room change. In flash of 5 minutes the room key to another room was handed to me by the receptionist.
Since the car that is supposed to serve me failed to come, I inquired with the receptionist on how I can be able to reach the next city(Iriga) from the property. The receptionist said that I need to go to the bus or van terminal by jeepney to Panganiban and tricycle to the terminal but if I need to use a taxi, they are glad to assist me. So I requested for the use of taxi instead. Also, I requested for my room and food bill be prepared and delivered together with my ordered food for the next day.
On my check out day, I had my bill and food delivered as instructed. Request for a car was endorsed by the night shift to the next shift. The eye on details of the staff is just too amazing.
Everything went smoothly. Car is ready when I went down. I hopped in the car ordered for my next destination.
I was impressed with the level of service this particular property has and a last WOW I found out was the owner of the property is driving me in a Land Rover because no taxi is available for that particular requested time and the same person who answered my call for direction at 4:30 in the morning.
Being served by people with sincerity brings a lot of satisfaction, fulfillment and a sense of gratitude to these unsung heroes of the property.
I highly recommend Blue Paseo Grande a place to stay.

Upon checking in, the staff was pretty nice and accommodating. He showed us our room, seemed clean. We were tired so we didn’t mind how rundown the room is cause we were only staying there for one night after all, just ordered food so we can watch our show.
Problem #1 was the food we ordered, Chicken Cordon Bleu was very raw. The staff was glad enough to take it back to cook it properly, though.
Problem #2 was while watching our show, we saw a mouse come through above the AC unit. We just stuck toilet paper in as best as we could to keep it out. By this time, we were frantic, we searched the whole room...
Problem #3 was we found mouse droppings under our pillows and on the bed frame.
Overall, probably the worst experience I’ve had.

Pros: has a 24/7 cafe downstairs although I did not try anything there; wifi is good for the Philippines starndard; bed is comfortable; aircon works okay; mart beside the hotel; room lights are great; it has a window and a balcony
Cons: staff not friendly, shower is weak and water heater not great; bathroom seems unfinished with workarounds holding the tap or things like that; a bit costly for what it offers to a solo traveler; room is small

1. I called up the property the day before my arrival to clarify my check-in time, that is, I booked on May 27-28 and I would be arriving on May 28 at around 530AM. When I arrived at 5:30AM, the lady at check-in counter did not know the conditions of my arrival, nor did she know I called up the day before. She was insisting it was an early check in (for May 28-29) which did not reflect on the printed voucher I presented. I had to do the explanation instead of being whisked into the room right away. She was more concerned to know I was checking out at noon.
2. The food here tastes well, but the serving size is so mean, you would imagine the entire Bicol region is experiencing scarcity, or that it is in the character of the people to serve so meanly and care only to raise profits.
3. The toilet sink was dirty and so was the toilet seat cover. The linens were clean.
4. TheA/C was OK.

We were caught by heavy rains and flooding within the area and decided to check in in a bed and breakfast inn. I checked online and we found the nearest place which is the Blue Paseo Grande Inn. I thought there will be double single beds which can accommodate the three of us, my husband, I and my son. To think that we will simply stay for less than 12 hours, simply sleep and leave the place the soonest possible time. It took us an hour before we were able to settle down. When I saw the room there's only one bed for a couple. I requested for extra bed for an additional fee but the receptionist offered another room but the A/C was not working and instead gave us another room to accommodate my son. I asked if we will have a breakfast and she said there is but when the morning comes and I asked to prepare our breakfast, I was told by another personnel that breakfast is not included since I booked online. Have I learned it earlier, I could have checked in as a walk in customer. Breakfast wasn't served and we decided not to eat there anymore. Their A/C automatically shut off at a given time as I woke up sweating. I asked for wifi password but was not given to me.
