Our second time staying for a baseball tournament and it has always been a smooth process! We absolute love Joel who is very welcoming, polite and simply amazing!

Great Location But Missed the Mark
My husband and I stayed the weekend at this hotel in room 317 while in town for the Azalea Trail. I stayed at this hotel in 2019 and liked it well enough to return but I'm not sure I will stay at this hotel again. I really want to stay positive, but the cons outweigh the pros here.
Pros: Rate is fairly reasonable, in a location near shopping and food, the room seemed clean, bed was okay, breakfast was typical, housekeeping staff on our floor were the only warm and friendly staff members we encountered, which we so appreciated. We did get a courtesy welcome texr during our stay from office staff,
Cons: When we entered ths room, the ac had been set on 59 degrees and it was freezing. The hotel is in desperate need of updating, since the furniture in the room is stained and worn, the sink in the bathroom is missing the stopper, the bathtub has rust stains, the shelf in the bathroom is broken and leaning and the furniture in the dining area includes cracked and torn seats. Front desk staff were less than eager to leave the back office to answer the bell at the front desk the 2 times we needed something during typical business hours. We asked that more towels be sent up while we were out for the day but they were not delivered, so that meant another trip down to the front desk.

We have stayed at this property several times over the years. The last time being in February. I noticed then that the property was in need of some minor repairs. This time, there were several issues. Excessive mildew in shower and around toilet, the sink was cracked and missing the stopper, broken toilet paper holder, bathroom walls could use a good wiping down, carpet was not vacuumed well. When we were in the elevator upon arrival, there was a spill that was still there the next morning. One elevator was down when we arrived and when we returned from dinner the other was down as well, leaving us to climb up 4 flights of stairs. We confirmed with the front desk the second one was also down, there was no sign on the second one.

Avoid At All Costs
I picked a specific room the day before check-in. I arrived to the hotel at 12:30pm on a Saturday just to check to see if anything was ready. They never asked my name or anything and told me nothing was available. That’s fine, got it. I guess they couldn’t finish cleaning not one single room an hour and a half after check out.
I came back 45 minutes after the check in time (3:45pm) and was told my room was still not ready. After finding out they have poor communication between the employees, my room has been ready. I stayed on the first floor.
I go to bed early and wake up real early every day. There were kids running up and down the halls yelling and screaming. I called the front desk and they said they don’t do anything because it’s the weekend and they have til 11pm to do whatever they want. I asked if they could just stop running up and down the halls and stay in the lobby or go outside. Once again he told me they wont do anything til 11pm.
And the rooms are worn out and trash. Bathrooms are moldy.

The room and bed were both comfortable and clean. Very spacious. Nice bathroom.
However, upon checking in, the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly rude. He was rude and borderline hateful at the moment of arrival. If I hadn’t paid in advance for our room I would have walked out and found another hotel. It’s unfortunate when companies hire people who are not properly suited for their positions.
