I'm Diamond guest stsyed 23 july upgraded King Deluxe River View with balcon room 311. Checked in friendly reception. Dinner & breakfast restaurant & Bar good service. Room decorated homely. Hotel right in city centre with canal chilled and relaxed. Hotel also amenities gym, swimming pool and sauna jacuzzi next block. Highly recommend this hotel. We will come back to stay again.

Car park scam
Attended a meeting here for 3 days. I can't comment on rooms as I stayed at another hotel as this is one of the most expensive hilton I've encountered. Meeting facilities were fine and the room had a nice view out to the river. Catering was also good.
Poor rating because of day 3. I parked there for the duration, and just like day 1 and day 2 I registered the car at reception on arrival and paid at reception upon leaving.
A few days later, I received a parking fine, which of course I appealed. I did pay, after all.
Another couple of weeks later and I get another letter to say my appeal was rejected because of lack of evidence. Seems the credit card receipt from reception proves nothing in their eyes - noting that reception wasn't able to provide a proper receipt for some reason. As "a gesture of good wiil" gave me an extra 14 days to pay the fine. What a joke. Emailed the hotel and no reply.
As a gesture of good will I've given an extra star for this review.

HONESTY and INTEGRITY
A very good experience for a special reason: my daughter forgot her fingerrings in the room when we checked out. The staff was honest and mailed them to us. This means so much to us! It is an honesty of the staff, all coordinated by Luca from reception, not often found in this world. We are extremely grateful and can only say: if that is the spirit of the staff, then which hotel can be better for your stay? Thank staff at the Graduate!

Great hotel if you need parking and close to city centre
Great location close to town and next to the river with a lovely bar area that opened out on to the river terrace, with restaurants and lovely views. You are virtually in the city centre so the location is superb. Prices in bars and restaurants are relatively expensive but probably what you’d expect in Cambridge.
We had a small double room which fortunately had air conditioning as it was very hot. It was very cleverly designed and had a walk in shower but probably a little compact for two people and I suspect it was designed for 1 person as there was only 1 bath towel which we didn’t realize until the next morning.
The downside of our room was that it overlooks the front of the property which is a disadvantage as there was a lot of noise on Friday night. However in the morning it was worse because coaches collecting your groups parked underneath left their engines running whilst waiting for people and/or people stood around chatting under your window before boarding the coach. This disruption woke us up very early.
A great advantage for us was the parking which is not guaranteed but right behind the hotel. You can type the registration of your car into a screen at check in and that gives you parking until 3pm the next day. Shockingly expensive at 26 pounds sterling but worth it to us as we Kenny had one night.
Would stay again but not book a room facing the roadway.
Check in staff were super friendly and helpful
