Pleasantly surprised.
We booked this budget hotel for five days for last week's football.
I was pleasantly surprised after reading some negative reviews on TripAdvisor.
Staff were friendly and spoke fluent English, and the room was clean and tidy.
Breakfast consisted of cereals, cold meats, bread, fruit, pancakes, etc, which cost around £12.
We were offered a room to store our luggage foc after checkout.

Basic base for visiting Copenhagen
We stayed here for 2 nights in a family room and I might have had a bit too high expectations given the price. In hindsight, I should have thought better of the fact that Copenhagen is a very expensive city and that A&O is really a hostel and not a hotel. The room itself was relatively clean only the pillows and duvets of the bunk bed had a lot of dirty yellow stains. Breakfast is very sober but you can just get a sandwich, cup of yogurt and coffee.
The staff is very friendly and the general area around the reception is kept somewhat clean but the communal kitchen is really very dirty and messy, I would not advise preparing food myself.
There is also a parking space, you have to pay for that, was about €15 per night.
It is a great place to discover the city, the metro is 5 minutes walk and from there the center is up to 15 minutes. There is a shopping center a 5-minute walk away and also a very nice playground nearby.
With tempered expectations in terms of stay, this is a great base to visit the city, also as a family.

Too expensive.
Had bought Deal for 390kr
Upon arrival on May 2, you should pay 1200kr above.
1590 kr for one night with breakfast. It's not worth it.
Terrible noise all night, you live on a construction site.
TV didn't work.

Location is next to a construction site when we stay.
Nearby have some nice restaurants or you can walk 15-20mins to reach the nearest shop.
Staff are friendly.
Breakfast is standard but the coffee machine and pancake machine are broken when our stay.

Good accommodation (alternative) in Copenhagen (Norrebro)
The a&o Copenhagen Norrebro is a large complex of buildings with a Hostel on one side and a (simple) hotel on the other. I had booked a double room in hotel wing for 4 nights. Check-in at the reception was friendly and smooth, at Check-out I simply threw my room card into a box. However, the entire building exudes the typical Hostel style everywhere, so anyone expecting a hotel is more likely to end up in a Hostel than a hotel. Everything very simple, sporadically but functionally furnished. Thus, the audience was also mixed of many youth tour groups, youth solo travelers but also families with children were there. I did not mind, quite the contrary I felt very comfortable.
The hotel is located in Norrebro as just outside the tourist center, but with the metro (M3) na but in about 20-25 minutes to the old town of Copenhagen). From and to the airport, change to the M2 once at Kongens Nytorv Metro Station. The metro ride to the airport takes less than an hour, the metros run every minute in Copenhagen (during the day).
There are also a few smaller restaurants/bistros and supermarkets around the hotel.
My double room was very basic, just like the rest of the hotel/Hostel, but everything was functional and available: Double bed (two single beds these have slipped apart, although not a problem as a solo traveler, but then sometimes disturbed, if necessary the rollers can also be fixed to the beds), a small shelf, a closet, a table and a bathroom. The room was cleaned during my stay daily and the towels changed. So simple but top to stay, that's all I needed.
In the building there is still a breakfast room, I had booked with breakfast and the breakfast is also simple but sufficient for a start to the day. So there is coffee, tea, juices, fruit (apples), rolls/bread, yogurt, jam, sausage, cheese and eggs. That was enough for me.
Drink vending machines are still available in the lobby. At the parking lot / in front of the building there are isolated seating available, which could be expanded, especially for the summer.
During my stay the opposite building was renovated, so I woke up every morning with construction noise, I found that a bit annoying, but the a&o can't help it.
Another disadvantage (for me): Check-out at 10 a.m. on weekdays (and 11 a.m. on weekends), but it seems you can also book a late Check-out.
Conclusion: Definitely recommended as a (cheap) overnight alternative in Copenhagen, even if I felt I paid too much for it. Simple but functional. Location due to the metro connection to the city center from my point of view very good. The guest structure (mostly teenagers) was no problem for me, it was never “loud” in the accommodation.
