Hospitality and location the perfect duo in Sandy Hill
The residence is located in a residential area of Sandy Hill where many embassies and consulates are located. Although the house is a historical and classic building, everything works. The room maintains the character of the entire house, as described, impeccable, spacious, the windows open, the nights are quiet and the most important thing is you have a bottle of water, drinks, and a coffee maker. The King mattress, extremely comfortable, so much so that I wanted to check the brand and model. Private bathroom with newly renovated tub/shower. Parking is included in the room price. Excellent attention from Irina and her daughter Sofia. Thank you for the suggestions and your attention during breakfast. Very delicious Russian recipe pancakes, strawberry, blackberry, mixed jam, fresh fruits and vegetables sautéed with a slice of rye bread. From the house we walked to the beautiful Strathcona Park, you would walk along the Rideau Canal, ByWard Market, Working Title Kitchen Cafe and Bakery, and we fulfilled our main objective, carrying out our consular procedures. The residential location is perfect for both tourism in the city center and for attending consular or embassy appointments. For those who enjoy the family atmosphere of B&Bs this is an example of excellence.

Great value
The floors can be a little creaky and the internet connection was a little spotty at times but there were no issues otherwise.

COMFY AND GREAT LOCATION!
My room was a large room, with an extremely comfortable king-sized bed, with an attached private washroom. Included in my room, was a flat screen TV.
Every morning, Irina cooks up breakfast to order, with options such as crepes, omelettes, porridge, fresh fruit, cereals and more. Her stove top coffee is delicious!
I had a free parking spot included. The area is a really nice, residential area (Sandy Hill), with historic homes and lots of embassy's. You can walk to Elgin St or downtown quite easily (if you are a walker).
I highly recommend this B&B.
